Zero!! I have visited this office 2 times to consult initially and a follow-up. This provider was 30 minutes late to my last appointment 😒 I was checked in by the Medical Assistant at about 3:54PM in the room . I checked into the office at about 3:45PM for a 4:00PM appointment. At about 4:26PM, I stepped into the hallway to make sure I hadn't been forgotten. I live and work in St. Marys, which is 45 minutes to an hour away. I left there with plenty of time enough to make it after work. When I intercepted someone who was in the hallway and indicated that I was worried about being forgotten, they looked around ... then eventually the provider and the Medical Assistant came out of a room[at 4:30PM] (it looked like the MA had her purse and was leaving). I mentioned that I didn't want to be forgotten, then the provider said, we'll start now. My time was definitely not respected! I told the provider that I had been working since 7 AM and was ready to go home as well, which was still an hour away. My husband was 2 minutes late to an appointment he had with a provider he had for 10 years (not at this office) and he was turned away. I should have left, but they would have billed me anyway. Total disrespect of my time equals me not going back there.
Got here 20 minutes before my appointment, explained I had my reports from 2 MRIs and 1 CT Scan all done within the last 2 weeks. Watched as 3 patients who walked in after me get called back, told I needed x-rays I declined saying I wanted no more radiation thrown at my body in such a short amount of time. Finally called back, no info was taken from me outside of the info on my hip, no pharmacy, no weight, or what medications I’m currently on. The table paper wasn’t changed at all from previous patient. I explained I have to be to work by 8:00 it’s 7:45 and my appointment was at 7:10. I am not impressed with this practice at all. Will be going to get a 2nd opinion from another doctor.
I would like to recognize the excellent care provided by Briana. She was very kind, attentive, and professional during my visit. Even though we did not speak the same language, she made every effort to understand me and listened carefully to all of my suggestions with patience. Her attitude was very respectful, and she exceeded my expectations. I am very grateful for her dedication and for making me feel well cared for.
IF YOU WANT YOUR FAMILY MEMBER TO HAVE EMPATHY, PROPER TREATMENT, AND PROFESSIONAL CARE I AM WARNING YOU NOW STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE. I should have listened when I was told by Baptist ER that they will not TOUCH or treat any surgeries or procedures from SE Ortho. They rushed my husbands treatment after a major surgery and have not provided adequate care. They have so many patients that they cant even keep up with efficient care. You will never get anyone to answer or a call back. Be prepared to have very minimal contact with this office. I have been calling this office since last week, had to physically walk in to be told that I have to call a number for someone to help me. So I left, called Kathy explained the what I needed help with she stated that I would here from her the following day and I have YET to hear from her. Then I get a call this morning from a very unprofessional woman stating that she is giving me a call back from last week! I explained the situation only for her to still give me the wrong information! I tried to just schedule an appt with the provider which she told me that we were not aloud to schedule with him at this time which is weird because when we were paying you for an appt you were available! At this point I am frustrated & I asked to speak with her Manager (Nicholas "the regional manager that is working today) he told me that he could not help me he was very unprofessional and kept talking over me so then I asked to speak to his manager then he said oh well & just hung up on me! THE MANAGER! This is how they treat their patients. I see why the staff in this office is incompetent because management is worse!!! I tried calling back after being hung up on and they ignored my calls. We have never been treated this way by ANY of his other providers. UNBELIEVABLE SE ORTHO! We should have went to Baptist.
Andrea Johnson Parris has been helping me manage the arthritis pain in both of my wrist for approximately one year. She is outstanding. She is knowledgeable, professional, friendly and listens very well to what I need to say about the pain issues with my wrists. The other staff members at Southeast Orthopedic on Riverside Drive are also outstanding. They are competent, friendly and eager to help you through your visit. Thank you all!
