This congregation provided a warm and loving church home for my college student for her entire time at UNF. They were always very friendly when I visited, and they focused on simply teaching the Bible.
This is my church family. I was baptized by the preacher Harold Dowdy when I was 17 years old. I am 62 years old now. I believe this is the true church of the Bible. I appreciate that we sing acapella to each other and that we learn the meat of the word. I am not a babe in Christ and still do not know the history of the Old Testament like I wish I did so I am happy when the lessons involve geography and the dates of the battles that occurred back then. Our lesson on Sunday December 16, 2018, was very helpful for that reason. The preacher today is Russ Roberts at this congregation. Russ presented a very empathetic lesson but sadly my ears do not work the way that they used to and my concentration is not what it used to be but I still thoroughly enjoyed the lesson and visiting with people that I had known for years.
My husband and I have been members here for many years.Teaches only what’s in the Bible . Friendly Loving caring atmosphere .Also when your under the weather you can attend on zoom.
I enjoyed visiting with this congregation. Bible based, and they are very warm and welcoming to their visitors. It was a pleasure to meet and worship with them.
I've been a member there for a couple years now. I was looking for a small church to join, I stopped in for the Sunday service and almost everyone made a point to introduce themselves to me and welcome me there.
