I had a very disappointing experience with South Beach Tax. When I initially called, I was assured that they could help me reduce my taxable income using a variety of strategies tailored to my situation. Based on that conversation, I made an appointment and went in with high expectations. Unfortunately, the actual appointment was nothing more than a basic review of the spelling of my name and my wife’s and making sure my address was written correctly —something that could have easily been done over the phone. No strategies were offered, no meaningful guidance was provided, yet I was still charged a hefty fee. I felt misled and frustrated, as I did not receive the service that was promised. To make matters worse, when I followed up with the so-called “manager” to express my concerns, I was brushed off and told I should be thankful for the discount they gave me. That response was both unprofessional and dismissive. This entire experience could have been avoided had they simply been transparent from the beginning about their limitations or lack of expertise in my specific situation. Instead, my time was wasted and my money taken with little to no value provided in return. I would not recommend South Beach Tax to anyone looking for real tax planning or strategy. Proceed with caution.
My entire life I've done my own taxes, but I had a complicated situation in 2024. Brance at South Beach was phenomenal at preparing my return quickly and efficiently and professionally. Everybody there in the office is highly professional, especially those two lovely ladies up front. Highly recommend

These people are the true GEMS of Jax Beach. Marie and Ron were so helpful and took time to go over my taxes to make sure I was filing correctly. I had a bit of a confusing situation with the payroll service I use for my nanny and what I found to be incredible was they are both very experienced tax professionals and yet there was no ego- they kept running things by each other to make sure everything was being inputted correctly. Many times you see "I have been doing this for 10+ years, I know what I am doing so I don't need help" but there was none of that- they truly wanted to just make sure they were doing right by me. I cannot recommend them enough. Marie & Ron - your dedication to your clients is the reasons that you have gained a lifetime client. THANK YOU! :)
We've used Ron and the team at South Beach Tax for over 30 years, hard to believe it has been that long! They prepare our personal returns and our two business returns. We've referred multiple family members and business owners to them, they all love them too. They provide a very efficient process and they quickly answer any questions I have throughout the year. Couldn't be more pleased with their services.
