South-A-Philly Steaks & Hoagies

I ordered a Philly the other night and it was great. Today I got one with extra cheese and extra meat toasted. This sandwich is on soggy soft bread which isn’t toasted and the cheese is on the bottom . Phillys aren’t made like this. It’s not tasteful at all . A waste of my money

Went in for a quick lunch today before leaving and heading to the beach. Great food and customer service! Will definitely be back next time.

Being from the NJ area I have enjoyed a number of cheesesteaks at various locations including the famous Pat's and Geno's in South Philly. I thought they were the best cheesesteaks anywhere... until I came to St. Augustine. The cheesesteaks from South-A-Philly found a way to make theirs even better. The menu offers many options of cheese and toppings but I choose provolone every time. 5 stars across the board except atmosphere -- the place is very typical of what you'd find in Philly or the Jersey shore... not fancy but clean. And their is beer for the adults and a variety of pinball machines for everyone.

A must go to for cheesesteaks if you are in saint augustine. The food comes made to order with warm soft bread. There is also a draft and canned beer option. The food is reasonably priced. Waited about 10 to 15 minutes for the order, the food ia brought to your table.
