We’ve had an outstanding experience with Solar Boss and Dana (who originally installed our system back in the Universal Solar days and later added more panels). Our 68-panel, 30 KW system on the roof has been reliably meeting our electricity needs. From the first consultation through final inspection, the team was professional, communicative, and highly efficient — the installation was completed on schedule with minimal disruption. The crew arrived on time each day, worked cleanly, and kept us informed at every step. When we suffered golf-ball damage, Solar Boss promptly installed a protective net and handled repairs quickly and professionally. The system performs beautifully and the whole process was seamless; we couldn’t be happier with their timeliness, expertise, and customer service. Highly recommend Solar Boss to anyone considering solar.
I hired Solar Boss to remove/reinstall my solar panels when I got a new roof. Dana was professional and flexible when the date changed. He communicated well, kept all appointments and completed the job on time. I would definitely recommend Solar Boss and will not hesitate to use them again.
I'd wanted to go solar for a long time. I wanted a 15kw system with state-of-the-art components including as much battery storage as I could afford. Dana devoted a significant amount of time answering all my questions and pointing out alternatives in some cases. I ended up with a design and battery storage of 32kwh that exceeded my expectations. The 24 panels were installed in one day as promised by Dana's own crew without issues. The inside work was performed by Dana's master electrician without issues. Dana pricing is competitive and his contract is quite clear and transparent. As promised Dana managed everything with plans/designs, county permits, electric utility and HOA materials. Highly recommended!
Solar Boss removed and reinstalled existing solar panels before and after we had a roof replacement. Roofers will not deal with panel removal or reinstallation. We reached out to several solar companies and got bids that were CRAZY expensive. But Solar Boss came to the rescue with a quote that was actually based in reality. They were on time, friendly and did quality work. We will be doing more business with Solar Boss in the future.
Solar Boss installed solar panels and backup batteries for me in December 2025. The experience was great. Dana was very hands on and a great communicator. His team was professional and very knowledgeable. They worked with me to get the best production but at the same time "hide" the panels so they were less visible from the street view. We've achieved complete energy offset so no more electrical bills and I now also have an awesome backup option in case of hurricane or other outage.
