Sky Nails Bar is THE Best nail salon in all of Baker County, in my opinion. The staff are all very professional and friendly. The salon is VERY clean as well! I have never had a bad manicure or pedicure from any of the staff. I highly recommend you to come to Sky for all of your nail services.
I had an appointment at Sky Nails Bar for 3:00 PM because my regular nail tech is out sick. I got there on time, and they started soaking my polish off. But after about 30 minutes, no one had come back to check on me or remove the polish. I ended up sitting there for over an hour with no service, even the lady next to me noticed and said something. At that point, I started taking the polish off myself. Finally, after more than an hour, someone came over and asked if I was ready. I told her I didn’t want my nails done anymore, just to clean them up. She quickly used a drill on the top of my nails, lightly filed them, and that was it. Then they still tried to charge me $10, saying it was for the acetone and filing. I understand paying for a service, but waiting over an hour with no attention and then barely receiving anything? That’s not okay. Definitely not the experience I expected.
This was my first time ever getting nails done other than prom. I wanted to start a nail trial to see what I would want for my wedding. I showed them pictures of the designs I wanted from Pinterest and they told me they couldn't do the nails the way the color was with the red and black, so I told them that I'll just do opposite colors on my nails and call it a day. I had them do one nail with blood splatter like in the image and my nails don't even look like it is blood splatter. The nails aren't terrible, but it's just not what I asked for and was expecting more. I paid $70 for some nails that I do not even like and very unsatisfied. I also told the lady to not mess with my cuticles and she agreed like she understood, and then a few minutes later she tries to get my cuticles with the tool after i just told her before she got started on my nails. I did not like the fact that she tried doing that after i specifically told her to not do it. They also did not do my nails as sharp as i wanted them like the pic shows. This is the place my friend usually goes to and that's why I went, but I will not be coming back here. Just a heads up, if you're looking for someone to do nail designs on your nails, don't go here.
I found my nail spot! I've tried a few other places since I moved here, amd they were ok. This place is phenomenal though!
Wanted something different. People were telling me to try the new shop. Ms. Ivy did something new and came out perfect. Very peaceful atmosphere. Organized, helpful, and take their time on their craft. Thanks for the convo Darling and Ivy
