Caila with SilverLink was amazing to work with. My sister-in-law made initial contact and she helped provide them an extensive list of retirement community and memory care options and pricing. A couple of weeks later our parents situation took a significant change and she was able to help us arrange tours at the two places we wanted to see within 24 hours. Decisions were made within 24 hours more, and then Caila did the heavy lifting of assisting us with signups, contracts, and arranging senior movers along with the medical forms necessary for admissions. Caila was a wealth of knowledge with our many questions, having directed a memory care facility at an earlier point in her career. Fast forward one week and our father is settling into memory care far better than we could have hoped. Our mother likes her new community and the situation is working out well for everyone. I am so very thankful for knowledgeable, caring individuals like Caila. She truly cares about what she does and helping seniors and families navigate this confusing care maze. I highly recommend her and SilverLink’s services.
If I could give Mike and Silverlink Consulting more than five stars, I would. Mike helped my family through two of the hardest seasons of our lives, and I honestly don't know what we would have done without him. The first time was an emergency. My father suddenly needed memory care, and we had no idea where to start. Mike immediately stepped in, assessed the situation, found the right community, and handled so much of the legwork that we simply didn't have the capacity to do ourselves. Beyond helping us find the best place for my dad, he connected us with trusted transportation services, moving resources, and even an elder law attorney to help us navigate the Medicaid process. After my father passed away, Mike helped us again - this time with my mother. She was looking for independent living, and Mike personally picked her up and drove her to tour six or seven different communities, sometimes revisiting the same places so she could compare them again and feel confident in her decision. He never rushed her. He genuinely wanted her to find the place that felt like home. One moment I'll never forget: my mother accidentally left her purse at one of the communities. Mike made sure she got home safely, helped her inside, then drove nearly an hour back to retrieve her purse and brought it back to her. That's simply the kind of person he is. In the end, he found the perfect community for her - one that fit her personality, her needs, and her budget, giving our family confidence that she'll be safe and well cared for for years to come. He even connected us with a trusted financial advisor to help us plan for the future. What sets Mike apart isn't just his knowledge (although he has an incredible understanding of senior living, memory care, Medicaid, and the entire process). It's the way he shows up. He's calm when you're overwhelmed, steady when you're scared, honest about your options, and deeply invested in helping families make the best possible decisions. I've recommended Mike and Silverlink Consulting to several friends, coworkers, and families, and I'll continue to do so without hesitation. Most of us don't know anything about senior living until we're suddenly forced to figure it out during one of the most emotional times of our lives. Mike makes an overwhelming process manageable. He becomes a trusted guide when you need one most. I only wish there were more people like Mike and more organizations like Silverlink Consulting. Families need them.
When my mom suffered a stroke and could no longer safely live on her own, our family was overwhelmed and unsure where to turn. From the very first call, Michael and Caila with Silverlink stepped in with compassion, professionalism, and genuine care. They came to Brooks Rehab Hospital right away, took the time to comfort both my mom and me, and guided us through one of the most difficult seasons of our lives. What stood out most was how much they truly cared—not just about finding solutions, but about helping us feel supported and less alone during an incredibly emotional time. Their kindness, patience, and knowledge brought us peace of mind when we needed it most. I cannot recommend Caila, and the Silverlink team highly enough. We are beyond grateful for their help, support, and the difference they made for our family.
My mother needed to move from one assisted living facility to a higher care level assisted living facility on very short notice. I was referred to Mike on a Friday afternoon and he was wonderful. Took in all the information and set me up with Caila. I absolutely couldnt have done it without her! She helped me figure it all out every step of the way. It is so wonderful working with someone with institutional knowledge and amazing 6th sense to read the situation. Thank you Caila! It was great working with you.
Caila was a true blessing to our family in helping to find a caring place for my Mom in assisted living. She was always available for questions and gave encouragement to our family repeatedly!! She was great to work with and very empathetic with the emotional struggles we faced.
