I’m very disappointed with how I was treated at the Silver Leaf pool today. I am a resident of the community and went to the pool to pick up my daughter at around 5pm today because of the Thunder, who was inside with my friend. When I arrived, the manager approached me in an unfriendly manner and told me that the pool was closed and that I could not enter. I explained that I was not there to swim or stay at the pool — I was simply there to pick up my daughter. The manager still refused to let me in and told me that I had to wait outside. I still insisted on going in with the robe for my 6-year-old daughter, as she needed it Eventually, she arranged for a staff member to follow me inside just so I could give my daughter her robe. I found the whole situation unnecessary and very uncomfortable. At no point did I give any indication that I intended to stay in the pool or refuse to leave. I was simply a parent picking up my child and bringing her something she needed. I understand that there are rules regarding pool hours and closing procedures, and I respect those rules. However, the way this situation was handled — especially the manager’s unfriendly attitude and having a staff member follow me inside — made me feel as though I was being treated with unnecessary suspicion. I hope management can address this and find a more respectful way to handle situations like this in the future.
My wife and our guests had an absolutely horrible experience with the power tripping 16 year old "lifeguards" that prowl this place. First of all, a lifeguard is supposed to be watching the water and ensuring everyone's safety but this crew was way too worried about socializing with each other instead of doing the only thing they are supposed to be doing. After a long drive up, our guest was denied entry to use the restroom, by a smirking 16 year old clearly enjoying his "power", due to us being in the parking lot gathering our belongings forcing her to hop around like a school child while he gleefully looked on. Afterwards our families boys who are quite literally the EXACT same height were going to not be allowed to play with each other until we stood up for the absolute madness they were trying to enforce on us "This 7 year old cant go down this slide alone, that the other 7 year old can, unless the first 7 year old is holding onto the second 7 year old as if he's a baby, but once again he can not go down alone, he is too big! He must only go down holding another 7 year old as if he's a baby". I've never been more stunned and embarrassed to have a guest come enjoy the amenities that we pay a hefty sum for each month. Embarassing treatment of guests and residents
Nice pool amenities however there are some overly stringent rules intermittently enforced They don’t allow personal music yet teens in a pool are still able to toss a football around which cause other swimmers to duck out of the way?? Overall really nice amenities!!
Very regret to live here . Too much fine . They tow cars even when i live here and car registered. Dont came here to live to much problem. Especially parking problem and this community loves to give fines
This is great place!! Come here every weekend with the kids!!
