Love this store. Built on the ruins of an old gas station, this branch of Shores Fine Wine and Spirits is a nice addition to the neighborhood. The staff are always friendly and helpful and you're free to browse the large inventory of product. Prices are good, usually at SRP or lower, and their membership point system allows frequent shoppers to purchase harder-to-find and unique items. I'm a bourbon drinker. They always seem to have cool options you don't see at other liquor stores. Sometimes, the prices on these allocated items are a little higher than SRP, but that's the market. However, their asking prices are not double or triple, like I have seen at other stores and online. They used to offer samples of various products, but people abused it, so they stopped. They have a drive-thru, though I prefer to go inside, so I can browse.

August 2026 Chaser Water in the house at the San Pablo Shores. Try this with a thc spirit or just crush a cold still water for ultimate hydration. Thank you to Shores for supporting functional beverages and alcohol alternatives. March 2026 Erin behind the counter was super sweet and knowledgable especially on the alcohol alternative products at the counter. Clearly labeled sections with every type of alcohol in various formats as well as non alcohol and alcohol alternative drinks, gummies and other fun products. Shores is consistent and at great prices with attentive staff. Thank you for your service!
Huge selection with great prices. The allocated selection was nice just seemed a little extra pricey to me, but people are willing to pay it! Overall, a great place to shop and if you’re willing to pay the price on the bottle because they have it in stock, I would grab it!
Shores Liquor is easily one of the best spots around for a great selection and fair prices, but what really makes the store stand out is the incredible staff. On my recent visit, I was assisted by Chris and Jackson, and their level of professionalism completely blew me away. From the moment I walked into the clean, well-organized aisles, both of them went above and beyond to make sure I found exactly what I needed without any hassle.Jackson greeted me right away with a genuinely welcoming attitude and didn't hesitate to help me navigate the store. When it came to choosing the right bottles, Chris stepped in with impressive product knowledge, offering fantastic recommendations that showed he truly knows his stuff. Even as the store started getting busy, both of them handled the rush with absolute poise, staying completely focused, efficient, and polite to every customer in line. They even helped me carry my heavy items out to the car, which was an extra touch of hospitality you just don't see very often these days. It is rare to find retail staff so dedicated to top-tier service, and Chris and Jackson are the primary reasons I will definitely be a returning customer.
Huge selection of liquor and wine, with some of the best prices and deals around Jax- they even keep my favorite Japanese plum wine in stock! The employees/staff are all super friendly and helpful (shout out to Chris!!!) Sometimes the parkling lot can be a bit annoying to navigate depending on the time of day & the traffic on Beach, but it's usually fine and always worth it. Also has a drive thru, so if you want to stay in your car, the option is there. Highly recommend!!
