I was able to get Chloe in quickly to be seen. She was treated with great care. The vet got down on the floor with her. She explained what was going on to me well and what medications were available. This was our first visit and I was very impressed. I definitely recommend this veterinary hospital for pet care.
I absolutely love them! My dog Gizmo has really bad allergies, to the point where he licked his paws raw and they were red, swollen and bled constantly. Like full on bloody paw prints around the house. He had red itchy bumps all over his belly that looks so angry and made him smell so bad. He scratched his face so hard and so often, he caused himself an awful ear hematoma, one of the worst they’ve seen. After a few visits and trying different things, his allergies are practically non existent. He doesn’t scratch or lick. He has no itchy bumps and his fur is looking so good. His paws have healed and look beautiful! They just took care of his ear hematoma too, and he’s a completely different dog. He seems much happier and livelier and I couldn’t ask for more. We just wanted him to feel good and be a happy pup again. And they gave that to us. You can tell Dr. Puckitt loves what she does and cares about her patients and their families. The techs and receptionists are also so friendly and loving towards Gizmo. They make contact the day after every appointment, and several times when he’s there for a procedure. They surprised us once with a cute Halloween photo of Gizmo that still hangs on our fridge. We even took him there for a simple nail trim because we were confident that they could do it when we couldn’t. When he’s there, I know my baby is in good hands. And their prices are fair. They give you an itemized list with a total before they do anything, and even give you options to bring down the price. They also have a payment plan system that helps if you need one. I am so happy we took him here and will continue to do so. Thank you guys so much for everything you do! I attached a picture of the last time we were there. You can tell he’s comfortable there because he lounges on the couch while we wait and has no problem walking away with any of the techs. He isn’t afraid of the vet at all.
I had such a great experience here! Everyone was incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming with my dog. They took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I understood everything before we left. I never felt rushed or anything, and it was clear that they cared about my pet’s health and well-being. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this vet to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy practice!
I brought my 12-year-old dog, Roman, to The Shores Animal Hospital after receiving difficult news from another vet about lung masses. From the very first phone call with Colleen, I felt heard and cared for. She never rushed me, answered every question, and got us in within the same week. Walking into their office, I immediately felt the difference. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and comforting, unlike any vet office I’ve ever been in. Brittney, our nurse, sat with me and listened patiently as I went through my long list of concerns.. from his arthritis and new moles to just navigating this stage of his senior life. She relayed everything perfectly to Dr. Predki, who then came in and took the time to sit with us, listen, and truly see Roman and me. What meant the most was that I never once felt rushed, pressured, or pushed toward expensive tests. In fact, Dr. Predki talked me out of the more costly test I thought I needed and suggested a more practical, affordable option that fit our situation better. Their focus was clearly on what was best for Roman — not on upselling or rushing us through. After experiences at places like Banfield, where you barely see the doctor and get a quick call after drop-off, this visit was a breath of fresh air. I left feeling supported, informed, and genuinely cared for. I can’t recommend The Shores Animal Hospital enough. Every single person there showed real compassion and love for what they do, and that made all the difference during one of the hardest times in my dog’s life.
Vet is so wonderful my dogs love her. Extremely professional and friendly. Opie's ear infections are doing so much better. We also discussed and Veterinan show me how to clean/rinse his ears for preventative maintenance - bc he is so prone to allergies.
