The church has 2 services, Bible basics are taught each week. Friendly group. Sports for kiddos & many ways to get involved!
We researched and visited many churches before finding our home. Shindler Drive is a wonderful church with a fundamentally sound Bible preaching pastor, excellent worship, and focused missional drive. The focus on missions here (both foreign and domestic) is apparent. They don't talk and talk about the mission plans they have. They actually go and do. On top of that, the people here are wonderful. I love my Shindler Drive Baptist Church family. This is what people mean when they say "church family". I am anxiously awaiting the community outreach center with the new gym, fellowship, and kitchen. With the new building coming, more missions opportunities and chances to reach the surrounding community will come too.
Shindler Drive Baptist Church is an amazing place to worship. When we found out we were moving here, we prayed that we would find a wonderful church. God led us to Shindler Drive, and we've been there since. Shindler has wonderful programs for everyone in the family--senior adult ministry, men's ministry, women's ministry, youth ministry, children's ministry. We have a wonderful pastor who loves the Lord and preaches His Word. Our minister of music has livened up both our choir and congregation. There are outstanding opportunities to get involved in so many areas.
We searched for over a year to find the church for our family. THIS IS IT!! I felt very welcome from the moment I stepped into the building. The people are like family now. The preaching is straight from The Bible. The music brings glory to The Almighty God. The Children's ministry is wonderful. I feel blessed to call this my church home.
This church is different than any I have attended. The people truly care about each other as family. This church is on a mission to be disciples and make disciples. Our Pastor preaches from the Bible and is also kind and down-to-Earth. Our Worship Leader is full of energy that leaks out into the congregation. The worship style is a blend of hymns and contemporary; both morning services are the same. Our youth program is growing right along with our church. Lots of activities for children through adult ministries. A great place to get "plugged in."
