I cannot recommend Dr. Agee highly enough. He performed cataract surgery on my 80-year-old father, and the results have been truly life-changing. What sets Dr. Agee apart is that he’s a retina specialist who completed two additional years of specialized training beyond regular ophthalmology. This advanced expertise was exactly what my father needed for his particular situation. From our very first consultation, Dr. Agee was professional, patient, and thorough in explaining the procedure and what we could expect. His specialized training gave us tremendous confidence that my father was in the best possible hands. The surgery itself went smoothly, and Dr. Agee’s skill and expertise were evident throughout the entire process. My father’s recovery was remarkably quick, and the improvement in his vision has been incredible. He’s now able to do things he hasn’t been able to enjoy in years. What impressed us most was Dr. Agee’s genuine care and compassion. Usual eye clinics setting. LONG WAITS are normal depending how triage goes as the day progresses. I dont begrudge the wait. If I know my eye crisis will get treatment ASAP in this clinic, I am okay to wait as long as it takes for others. Nevertheless there will be waiting. I have been out after 75 minutes and as long as 4hrs. Wait may vary for others. Depends on why you are there and the patient load. The back waiting room is low lighting with Smart TV set to DIY channel. Comfortable enough seating. Staff is brisk friendly and efficient. Dr. quick to explain what is happening and accessible.
OMG.... Where shall I begin.. Dr Agee is Top Tier all the way.. Had a detached retina with a tear. I'm a disabled vet that hasn't been to the VA since 2018. MY Primary doctor no longer exists.... They ask me who's your Primary.. I Said the VA.... like me daddy always told me .. its not what ya know.. it's who ya know. THANK YOU DR AGEE....YOU HOOKED ME UP... WHOOP WHOOP
Dr. Agee and I met back in 2018 when I suffered a retinal detachment. It was terrifying having my eye do what it did. I was referred to Dr. Agee in Palatka and my terror and fears were calmed immediately in my office visit with Dr. Agee. He had me set up for surgery for early the following week and he saved my right eye. I continue to treat with him because my eyes are giving me some other problems. So far, Dr. Agee has taken care of every crazy thing my eyes come up with to limit my vision. My eyes are amazing (I am 68 yo) and I owe it to Dr. Agee. He is so humble and pleasant and truly a genius with eyes. I do not mind waiting for my appointment as he never rushes me and he is the only reason I can see as well as I do after some weird goings on with my eyes. He's truly a miracle worker. I am blessed to have found him. His staff is pleasant and professional. Thanks Dr. Agee.
