Dr. Refai is an exceptionally good psychiatrist. I've been receiving psychiatric care for over a decade. I saw several doctors over the years, but it felt like I wasn't being truly listened to until I started seeing him. He always ensures I'm comfortable with my treatment options and he goes above and beyond to treat my disorders, even though they tend to be treatment resistant. He is exceptionally knowledgeable in his field and offers great guidance. 10/10!

He listens but struggles to provide discussion of medication management. Great for a less complex patient. My diagnosis was too hard to treat I believe. So 3 stars for me.

You'll have to wait forever for an appt. Then he will show up late with zero communication that he will be late. If you happen to be frustrated by this he will come in aggressively and say "I am never going to be on time" and "if you can't handle that then I am not the right provided for you." You're right, you're not and while I didn't want to believe the negative reviews you proved them right.

The absolute best psychiatrist I’ve ever been to. He didn’t rush me; he believed all my symptoms and he made me feel like everything was going to be okay. When one medication didn’t work, he didn’t try to make it seem like I wasn’t taking them correctly (like others had). He genuinely cared about me as a person. His staff is wonderful as well. If I ever called with a question or complaint, I would get a call that same day. I recently started having my panic attacks again and all I had to do was call him and he called in my medication. This is one doctor I will NEVER stop going to and recommend him to everyone I know.
