A beautiful place for community, connection, reflection and hope. The SGI-USA Buddhist Center here in Jacksonville has become a very special place to gather with people from all walks of life. There is something incredibly grounding about driving beneath those gorgeous old Jacksonville oaks, walking through the doors and finding a community centered around peace, personal growth and the belief that every person has limitless potential. What I appreciate most is the shared humanity of it all—the conversations, friendships, encouragement, young people finding their voices, people learning from one another and simply showing up for each other. You do not have to have everything figured out before you walk through the door. Come as you are. Grateful to have this beautiful space and community right here in North Florida. 🌎✌️❤️
I have been practicing Nichiren Buddhism for about 9 years and I really enjoyed my visit to the Jacksonville SGI center. The members were very welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be returning back for more encouragement!
As a member of SGI-USA, I always enjoying spending real face time with other members. This month's Kosen Rufu Gongyo there were some folks I've seen on the Zoom meetings that I got to meet in the flesh and it was awesome
I enjoy new state of the art activity center.
