Had our first cleaning, and we left super happy! Everything was really great! Linda gave me a very good tip about cleaning 🦷 And guess what? They’ve got a little machine for kids to get a treat with a coin after the visit!

Deeply concerning experience with Dr. Maria Fraser at Seaside Pediatric Dentistry. As a parent, I was alarmed by the lack of clinical specificity in my child’s visit. The medical overview and treatment discussion were vague, incomplete, and failed to document or clearly explain key aspects of my children’s oral health, risks, or the intended clinical objectives. There was no structured treatment plan or evidence-based explanation that would meet modern standards of pediatric care. Equally troubling was the absence of appropriate pediatric bedside manner. Effective pediatric dentistry requires patience, calm communication, and the ability to clearly explain procedures in an age-appropriate way to both children and parents. Dr. Fraser demonstrated a noticeable lack of these core competencies, which made the visit unnecessarily stressful and unproductive. Given that Dr. Fraser completed dental school in 1995 and a pediatric residency in 1999, I expected care that reflected current pediatric dentistry standards, contemporary communication practices, and thorough clinical documentation. Unfortunately, the approach felt outdated and inconsistent with what parents should expect from a modern pediatric dental practice. Families seeking detailed clinical explanations, clear treatment rationale, and a dentist with strong pediatric communication skills should carefully evaluate other providers.

After calling multiple dentist offices to try and get my son in as quickly as possible because he had an abscess and being told everything from "the earliest we can get you in is November" and "We don't take children" I was feeling defeated until a coworker told me to call Seaside. When I called, the lady said "He absolutely needs to be seen and get that taken care of!" The staff was wonderful from the moment we walked in to the time we left. The wait was very short to get us back and they made sure my son was comfortable. The lady talked him through everything she was doing even though he wasn't paying attention at all. I will most definitely continue to take my child there!

My daughter had a great experience! Don’t hesitate to make an appointment with Dr. Maria and her wonderful staff. They ensured my daughter was comfortable; she was giggling and happy to comply with the procedure. Hours later, Dr. Maria called to check on my daughter and ensure that she was doing well. I am so grateful for the excellent care provided!
