I wouldn't recommend this office if you have insurance. Yes the staff is friendly as well as the dentist, but something is going on with the billing. I have some of the best dental insurance that Blue Cross and Blue Shield have . On my first visit I have the x-rays done and was told that I needed a deep cleaning but my insurance didn't cover it and it would be 487.00 I said okay and made an appointment for the following month. I had the cleaning done and now it's time for the next time, which they wanted 290.00 on the spot for extractions. I told them that I just gave them 487.00 cash and that I would make an appointment next month. I made the payment over the phone and made the appointment. The extraction went well and as I'm leaving they wanted me to make my appointment for a cleaning. I asked what was my part because I know my insurance was suppose to cover it, she said it would be 171.00. I told her that I couldn't come back in two weeks because of the monies that I had been paying. She told me that if I didn't keep the schedule that I would have to pay that 487.00 again. I made the appointment knowing that I wouldn't return. I went to another dentist for my treatment and they told me that my insurance was never filed. I don't know what bill I helped them pay but no more, now I know why each time I went there was no waiting patients.
I’ve had a wonderful experience at San Marco Smiles. Dr. Sharmilla Anand is incredibly knowledgeable, gentle, and truly takes the time to listen to any concerns you have. She explains treatment options clearly and makes you feel comfortable every step of the way. The entire team is friendly, welcoming, and professional, and the office is always clean and well-organized. From scheduling appointments to checking in and receiving treatment, everything runs smoothly. It’s clear that everyone genuinely cares about their patients and works hard to provide excellent care. If you’re looking for a dentist who is honest, compassionate, and dedicated to giving you the best possible experience, I highly recommend San Marco Smiles and Dr. Anand. My family and I have always been treated with kindness, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this office to anyone looking for quality dental care.
First time coming to this dentist and it was amazing! The staff were very kind and understanding with any and all concerns I had. Very attentive staff & very welcoming environment. Got my cleaning and cemented a crown the same day. Would definitely recommend choosing this facility & thank you all so much!
The staff is really friendly and put my mind at ease during my visit. I was impressed at how well everyone worked together. Dr. Anand is a sweetheart. Jordan is awesome, the whole staff felt more like hanging out with friends than a dental appointment. I highly recommend appointments earlier in the day to avoid lunch rush and after-school traffic.
Had a visit at San Marco Smiles this morning and it was great. I am petrified of dentist, have been all my life. They were amazing with me. I had four fillings and a cleaning done today. The comfort and professionalism was awesome. Thank you so much for your help.
