Great AA club with lots of meetings. Some of the most diverse group of folks I've ever had the pleasure of mingling with.
The oldest AA Clubhouse in the United States is open 7 days a week and helps those who need help with their alcoholism. Hours are Weekdays 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Weekends 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate are always available. Sodas and sparkling waters, chocolate and other snacks are sold. Best Clubhouse around!!! Come surround yourself with people who really care about their, and your, sobriety!
Accompanied a friend to a AA/NA meeting. Very hard to listen to the pain and suffering, but the words of wisdom with the shares were encouraging. Great place to go to if you need support and people who are or have gone through the same struggles and continue to thrive! One day at a time!
Here I came for an AA meeting to help me get from plan a along to plan z with energy to keep me living right. I got numbers from females to help when needed from outside the walls. I didn't get the results I was hoping FOR, for numbers not one went THROUGH for me. That's a great experience that ALWAYS help me with my thoughts to stay connected to fellowship with other Christan's. No hard feelings because I'm still attending, it's just not my first pick.
The meetings I have been to at this Clubhouse have played an integral role in my sobriety. The men and women I have heard speak and share here have a wealth of wisdom to offer anyone in the program from the newcomer to those with long-term sobriety. It truly is a staple in the Jacksonville AA community.
