I was looking for a specific hair dye but couldn’t find it on the shelf. I saw the sign that said, “Don’t see what you need? Ask an associate.” So I asked the older woman working there if they might have it in stock. She told me, “If it’s not on the shelves, we don’t have it.” Fine, fair enough. Then I noticed something odd. Next to the Soft Auburn label, there was a picture of a different shade I actually liked. But the shelf above the label—where that mystery color should have been—was completely filled with Soft Auburn instead. In other words, both spots were stocked with the same color, even though the pictures on the labels showed two different shades. We asked the same associate if she could help identify the mystery color. She insisted both pictures were the same shade. That was obviously not true. We tried explaining: “No, the colors on the labels are different—it’s just that both rows are filled with Soft Auburn.” She didn’t agree and called over another associate. The second associate admitted the colors were different and explained they were reorganizing. But then they said there was “no way” to figure out what shade the label belonged to, and that they didn’t have it—hence why both rows were stocked with Soft Auburn. At that point, we lifted the label ourselves and discovered the shelf was actually supposed to hold Deep Auburn Red. We don’t even work there, yet we managed to figure it out after being repeatedly told it wasn’t a different shade, that they couldn’t identify it, and that it wasn’t in stock. And sure enough—we found the shade just one shelf over. In the end, we did all the legwork while the staff didn’t even try.

Asked to do an even exchange on product I ordered online that said wasn’t available at the time I placed my order but saw it available on the shelf when I walked in. While they were able to do it they were clearly annoyed and complaining about doing it before even starting. Then I went to purchase an extra product from the counter and she rolled her eyes and said “I could have just done that on the exchange transaction” which I didn’t know.. because it was an even exchange. I love Sally’s but this location has terrible customer service. Very rude and embarrassing over something so small and only took a few minutes to do, especially for a manager/shift leader. This was my first impression of this location and will definitely be my last. Make the extra 10-15 minute drive to one of their other locations!
worst customer service i’ve ever experienced at a sally’s. rude employee who closed the door early bc she had to use the bathroom! would never recommend this location, so embarrassing. pls read other reviews because they’re all accurate
Ashley was very nice and knowledgeable on what products I was looking for. She took the time to answer my all of my questions. Thank you again
The manager was in such a rush to eat her lunch then actually help someone told her. I had a bad experience with the toner and she still pushed the toner instead of helping me find something else if you’re working at a hair salon place don’t cover up your hair. She’s very rude and unprofessional and is more worried about her break than actually helping the customers this place needs new management the reviews show that.
