Different events come through out the year. One being the BBQ/vendor sale. Great food, drinks, clothing, even hats, all things that can be customized. Food can be found of different interests/styles. Anyone and everyone has an interest, all while kids can certainly find fun in an area for them.
EWW Festival at the Fairgrounds did not disappoint! Great turnout and very talented artists. St. Johns Fairgrounds is a great venue, not to mention it has a great (free) disc golf course 😀
Nice area. Clean restrooms. We had a group cycling ride take off from here. Lots of nice roads. Gracious car traffic.
Do not go!! The biggest rip off. We paid basically $50 to park. Two people in our vehicle. While inside the grounds nothing was available for our $50. We had to pay to get in the Chili cook off and pay again for the Jimmy Jam Bar B Que. All roped off so a person can not see what is available. Take your $100 and get a nice meal at a restaurant where you do not have to stand with little cup with and a bite of food. We also had to walk in a very small walkway with trash cans and other people with dogs. We had to walk around at least a dozen extremely large dogs.
We were only passing through, but I am glad we got to play this disc golf course. Not super technical but still a challenge. Very fun! It is easy to play 9 holes or walk across the sounds to play a full 18. Nice and clean also, let's keep it that way.
