Sage Dental of Callahan

Took my Mother(who has dementia) there, she had to have a tooth pulled (which she didn't remember). I pulled the Tech aside reminded her about the Dementia and ask her to review the X-rays with her again. Both the Tech & the Dentist were onboard and handled it very well. I would recommend them to anyone.

My elderly father had a broken tooth. I called around for hours trying to find a dentist that would see him ASAP but no one was able to fit him in. Sage went out of their way to accommodate dad that same day. They seemed to be genuinely intent on helping dad. From the phone call, to the front desk, to the amazing Dr. They all went out of their way to make sure that dad was comfortable and got the medical care that he needed. This doesn’t happen often these days. We are very thankful for this office and the care they gave dad.

The office ladies and Brock were nice, well mannered and thorough. Stop telling people you can do a new patient appointment and cleaning same day when you definitely can't! I don't know why you can't just get a regular cleaning even if they say you need a deep cleaning because not everyone can afford it.

Sage dental in Callahan. Used to be Callahan Dental with total different crew. The cleaning was Pure torture and water boarding. The dental hygienist pressed so hard during flossing it cut my gum. Very pricey. They nickel and dime you for everything and try to get as much money from the insurance company as possible. Say no to add on procedures that are unnecessary but an attempt to increase costs. Charged me $900 dollars for perio protect trays. When I finished the treatment (that didn’t work) they tried to get me to purchase additional gel treatments at $32 a pop. My co pays for cleaning should be no more than $32 per visit. I have never walked out without being charged $150 or more. The staff is very pleasant.
