The volunteers here are wonderful, they are the heartbeat of the organization. They let my husband and I interact with all of the adoptable dogs and let us walk one of them. It helps the dogs get a bit of exercise and it also warmed our hearts so it was a win-win situation. I love what they stand for and that they are a safe haven for animals. Keep up the great work in the community. These animals need more people like you!
Got our angel on Friday. Top notch safe rescue facility. They're complete full disclosure on all their animals so you know before you go. They're clean, kind, professional. Spunky came bathed, and ready for a great life. The app process is easy but thorough. You can tell everyone there loves their animals and is truly motivated by getting these sweet little souls to a best fit forever home. I IMPLORE people to give them a shot at adoption. #adoptdontshop #whorescuedwho
My grandfather and I adopted a chihuahua from them in August on 2025, his name was Murphy. They gave us an extremely sick animal that had so many health issues he never should have been up for adoption. We DO NOT regret adopting him as we loved the animal more than anything. On February 11th of 2026, we had to put him down because of the health issues he had since way before we had him. Even though they paid us back for his many, many vet appointments, they were horrible at communicating. They told us he was health except for heart worm and they were lying. We will never adopt from here again. We miss our baby so much 😭
Safe pet rescue is fantastic! Our family has been fortunate enough to find fur babies that have changed our lives forever. The staff is caring and compassionate. The facility is clean and you can tell everyone is working as a labor of love. Their are volunteers who are walkers and some just sit and hold the dogs. Katherine and Robin are dedicated to the animals and are fantastic working with the public.
I've adopted 3 dogs from the so far. Great place with fantastic animals, rly big hearts here. They will also let you come volunteer and walk dogs anytime you want. I got to take a bunch of them on walks out to the beach and it was an awesome time.
