The lobster pasta was artfully presented and the it was also was so fresh and tasty. The steak is always amazing and plated on a hot block. The scallop ravioli is mouthwatering. I love to try all the appetizers as they are always unique compared to other restaurants in at John’s county. Tonight we tried the new Hawaiian shaved ice for dessert with the homemade sauce and fresh fruit. I only eat here when I want a fresh and unique experience with food. Dale - you added to our experience.
We had a great time celebrating our friends birthdays. From making the reservations to taking our last bite- our experience was delightful. Our waiter Dale was awesome and Kay was very accommodating to our large group of 10.
What a wonderful evening with family. Mahalo to the Chef (Jean Marie), his wife and hostess Kay, and our waiter Dale. Please go eat here. Food was fresh, unique, and tantalizing to the palate. Literally, the best food and dining experience we have had in the greater Jacksonville area. Service was above par. The octopus was perfectly cooked as it was tender, moist, and delicious. The cocktails were a take on some traditional ones with an island twist. Food was all plated like works of art.
Wow! Left the bubble to try this place after seeing menu online. It was so fantastic. If you love Hawaii or seafood or Asian fusion, and DELICIOUS food, you will not be disappointed. Waitress was nice, owner’s wife was fantastic and friendly, and the grilled octopus was divine. All the food had a slightly unique twist on what you expect and it was all delicious!! Drinks were fantastic and generous, and the meals were truly memorable. Love the independent places like this with truly talented chefs. Blood orange homemade sorbet for dessert was a winner!! Highly recommend.
My husband and I frequent Rustica I’d say twice a month. Every time we return, the staff is so friendly and appreciative and we now have favorites and enjoy the new menu options always in rotation. The tuna steak here is the best we’ve ever had! Food is always fresh, delicious and inventive. I really should have been reviewing this restaurant from Day 1 when we started eating here. The bartender is next-level with specialty drinks and recommendations for wines. It’s very impressive. We decided to make reservations here for Thanksgiving and per usual it was spectacular. Thank you to the chef and staff who go beyond to make our food and experience so memorable each time. Pictured here are the crab beignets - soo good! And Thanksgiving meal special.
