i paid $50 for this acrylic set for them to last THREE days before they started snapping and ripping my nails off. I don’t know if it was faulty application as they have broken under minimal force (opening a cardboard box) and the breaking is extremely painful so i am getting them removed. i got them without polish on top so that could have affected their strength but i do not recommend.. be warned.
I got almost all my fingers cut and were bleeding horribly, she told me she knew how to put charms on nails then poured glue out of the bottle all over my nail then put the charm on. My nails are chunky, glue everywhere, she smeared my nail polish so i had to put a charm where i didn’t want it. Paid 80 dollars probably the biggest scam of my life, there was a nice lady who offered to fix them that did an amazing job on my friends nails that got charms but my nails hurt so bad and i would definitely rather have no nails than this.
Ruby Nails is amazing! Everyone that works there is always so friendly and I have never walked out unhappy or with a set of nails I didn’t love! Linh is the absolute BEST and is always so patient with my indecisiveness! She is constantly learning all the new trends and is so good at what she does! I would recommend this place over and over to anyone and everyone!
We usually go closer to home to Best Nails, but they were closed today. We walked in to Happy Nails and Feet and the three of us were taken right back. The staff were wonderful to us. We felt pampered and relaxed! It was worth the drive for us.
My friend and I visited Ruby Nails for a wedding the next day. The staff was accommodating despite us not having an appointment. After a short wait, we got pedicures. My technician ignored my request for ombré toes, instead giving me basic French tips and adding glitter, which I didn’t want. My friend faced similar issues, as her technician refused to add a white line to her black French tips, claiming her toes were too small. For our nails, my technician promised an ombré look but ended up applying uneven layers of pink and white powder, topped with clumps of glitter, making them bumpy. He also failed to shape my nails properly. My friend, who was nervous about acrylics, had her technician cut them shorter, which visibly annoyed him, and he used silver instead of white for her French tips, ignoring her requests. Throughout the service, both technicians were dismissive and rude, making comments like “you’re a picky girl.” We left paying $250 total, feeling uncomfortable and unsatisfied. I ended up repainting my nails myself. The other staff seemed more professional, but I advise avoiding this place if you want a good experience.
