First, they did a nice job rewiring the setup. Incorporating the low and high pass filters, wiring the bass knob underneath the driving wheel, redoing the battery through console wire, I appreciated that. Everything talked about on the phone was great but the execution left more to be desired. My disappointment comes from a few factors: - Several exposed wires without any electrical tape covering them - The subwoofer isn't tied down to anything. It's just... Placed there on a foam mat (which may have been there prior, explains the dirtiness) - There was no consideration for the subwoofer area for when I put the frame back together. I got lucky with how I was able to keep a hole there, but was sad there was no thought put into that. - No one walked me through what they did when I went to pick up the car. No explanation, no showing me my new system. Nothing. I was just expected to pay and walk away. - No one took the time to set up the EQ of the head unit after the install. The tweeters were biting viciously and there was no mids at all. It took me a bit of time to find a way to balance everything. - The filters were glued on, but not properly. I was checking the work and it popped off immediately opening the door. At first I thought they installed it just hanging there, but there was a little bit of glue residue so I could temporarily hold it there. - Screw I mentioned that went into the door was still left uninstalled. This one I don't mind, easy to forget. 150/hour is no joke. Even if it's the standard rate, that's 300k a year with 8 hour days. I'd expect a lot more pride and craftsmanship in the work done.
Got tint, new head unit, back up cam in an older vehicle. They finished it in half the time he said. The staff are nice and kept me updated on everything. Looks, works and sounds great. They even fixed this other panel in the center console without me asking them. Highly recommend
Can’t say enough amazing things about JB and his team. Came by with my project car and tasked them with building a custom subwoofer box, but the catch is the car is a VW Cabrio (small and odd) and the subwoofer is a DS18 Hooligan 12 (big and heavy) They delivered big time. Box looks good from the outside, and built perfectly to spec, and brings out the best bass from my sub. To make it even better, they did it quickly at a very reasonable price. Very grateful for these guys and will definitely return. 10 stars ⭐️
JB was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, clearly communicating in laymen's terms so we understood. He diagnosed the Viper alarm system promptly and found a solution for us. His price was very reasonable. He not only diagnosed the original problem but found a problem unrelated to the Viper. JB went above and beyond for us. Can't say enough about Rollin Sound!
JB is legitimately one of the nicest people to deal with. He sat with me on a Saturday working though an issue I was having with my head unit on my daughter’s car. No complaints, never got irritated. Super nice guy. I highly recommend rollin sound.
