This law firm (Melissa Karati) represents RHP Properties who are the owners of Portside at the Beaches Jacksonville. This law firm has been assisting their client in unlawful illegal collection of legal fees created without proof of what these fees are for and attaching them to lot rental fees. This practice is against Florida Statue 723. They are also aiding Portside in refusing residents rent payments stating without payment of said legal fees rent is refused as "partial payment" this also goes directly against the signed lease section 18. When speaking with Melissa yesterday she explained the communication between her and her client is extremely lacking and therefore she was unable to explain the legal fees her office is charging their client who in turn illegally charges the residents. I would not consider this a reputable firm.

Rogers Towers a honorable law firm, which is very rare nowadays. I had a case where an lnjury lawfirm Edwards & Ragatz that employed Rogers Towers for my deceased mom's Estate was supposed to honor Rogers & Towers fees, but didn't. E & R firm dropped my case last minute after trying tricky techniques with me to drop them first due to their main injury attorney leaving their law firm. So they left me and Rogers Towers hanging. Rogers Towers continued representation of the Estate anyway. The attorney at Rogers Towers was very professional and respectful. The Firm has high values.
