I moved to St Augustine 9 years ago and purchased a home with a 12 year old concrete pool in fair condition. After 9 years fair turned to needs work. After contacting several Jacksonville pool companies and getting rediculous quotes I was very discouraged about to give up when I was given a recommendation from a gentleman who replaced the pool control panel and said there is no other pool company he would let work on his pool. I made the call and Robert came out immediately and gave a very fair quote. Due to Airbnb rentals I could not have the work done for several months. I offered to put $$$ upfront but they refused any payment until work was started. I had no idea the amount of work required especially in this hot Florida sun. Robert and his crew arrived a day early and delivered all necessary supplies so they would have no remodeling delays. Once work started Robert and his crew arrived every morning at 8:00 and busted ass all day. Robert and crew were VERY polite and professional. The final product was BEAUTIFUL !!!! The clean up was excellent. The attention to detail was very impressive and the steps taken to extend the life of their work was equally as impressive. Finally, the follow up maintenance instructions for the first 30 days to optimize the final product and put the pool in service were communicated well. My experience could not have been better and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND and I will say it once more, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Rock and Pool Remodeling. TEN STARS !!!
I had my 16 year old pool resurfaced and the stonework/tiles around the pool edge also redone by Rock and Pool. They also repainted our pool deck to match. They also installed a large French drain at one end of our backyard patio that floods often during hurricane season. We needed to get rid of an outdoor kitchen and bar and they did the complete demo work. Communication with them was great. They worked hard and fast. Job was completed in about 2 weeks for all that. I was referred to this company through my other pool company who installed my pool heater. I’m happy with the pool remodel and would recommend them to others. Thanks, Robbie!
Rock and pool remodeling performed a complete makeover on our pool. Our old school pool was DEEP! So deep that it was not enjoyable to get the grandkids in the pool. Rock and pool remodeling visited us and gave us some great ideas that we had not thought about. Bobby the owner of this company was very imaginative and gave great recommendations that turned out to be a great look. You can tell he has many years of experience. In the end our pool is more shallow, new finish, new tile, repair and refinished the pool deck, and equipment moved and reinstalled in a better location. We even got a new seating bench with table! This is a small company whose employees are friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell they want your pool to turn out like their own. I always felt like customer service was a top priority for rock and pool remodeling. Great job!
We had Bobby redo our 22x44 pool. What a fantastic experience. They worked hard and did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend them to do whatever you need. I also had them detail my boat and truck. These guys are awesome.
I have never in my life met the owner of a company like this one. The whole concept of wanting your customer to be happy with their decision seems to be left out of his playbook, in my opinion. For instance, after the pool was remarcited by a subcontractor (who we were told were employees) who left a light unsealed in our pool costing us over $1,500.00 to fix, not including hundreds of dollars in water loss and 2 pvc pipes we can’t prove they broke—though they were broken while they were there, we were told by the owner that that’s not their responsibility. He said we requested not to have it sealed despite a disclaimer being left out of the contract to that effect. Well, that’s kind of like a homeowner telling the roofer to disregard plugging up a hole in their roof. Anyway, that and refusing after two months to provide us with their marcite warranty after countless requests compels us to recommend not to walk away from this company when they call—but run.
