My son had his tonsils removed at wolfsons hospital by DR.Sprecher and I highly recommend him. He was amazing with my son and explained everything that happened during the surgery listened and answered every question I had and if I didnt understand something he explained it out to me. All hospital staff was amazing and great with my son as well.

Extremely rushed. Talked down to me like I don’t know surgery is serious. I myself had had a tonsillectomy and had complications so I understand the risk. He would not listen. It was as if we were having two different conversations because he didn’t answer my questions but things I didn’t ask about. My daughter’s pediatrician referred us here and wanted her to be seen by an ENT. I do not recommend him. When asked about my daughter’s ear wax that her pediatrician said was a lot, he refused to remove and suggested I just put any oil in her ear. I said she won’t let me and he turned to her and said “honey, you’ll let mommy put oil in your ear, right?” She firmly said no and he ignored the situation. Nurses was super sweet and they are prompt for appointment time.

Just left Wolfsons where he did my son’s ear tubes and he was AMAZING!! Seeing the reviews really had me nervous but he came in and explained everything. He didn’t rush.. he talked to my son while I was filling out the paperwork.. and explained in detail what happened while my son was under anesthesia. He deserves more than 5 stars.. he said my son will be “back to normal behavior” after his procedure and he was definitely right about that too because he’s running around doing flips. Thank you so much Doc… see you in 6 weeks!

I recently took my son to see Dr. Sprecher at Nemours ENT, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment he walked into the exam room, he seemed dismissive and uninterested in hearing our concerns. My mother and I tried to explain that my son’s adenoids had grown back, and with his recent severe sleep apnea diagnosis we wanted to discuss the next course of treatment. He didn’t take interest in our concerns, and brushed us off as though he had more important patients to see. I also had to advocate multiple times for something as simple as a Flonase prescription. While it’s available over-the-counter, Sunshine Health Medicaid will cover it if a prescription is written — which prevents unnecessary out-of-pocket expenses for parents. Instead of listening, Dr. Sprecher acted as though this request was unreasonable. His demeanor was condescending, and he ultimately wrote the prescription for only one refill when previous prescriptions included six. Overall, the visit felt unhelpful, dismissive, and like a complete waste of time and insurance resources. If we return to Nemours for ENT care, it will absolutely be with a different provider. I will not be scheduling with Dr. Sprecher again.
