While the building is old, and it’s parking deck has the first four levels reserved, it’s facilities are well maintained and it’s maintenance staff is wonderful, and very responsive.
Have had office space here for years. Sadly, i absolutely hate going into the office because of the state of this building. The owners, Acram Group, are perhaps the laziest real estate investment property owners I’ve ever witnessed. There is constantly a leak, damage, or an issue with this building. The attached garage is possibly the worst parking garage in the city and will test your car’s left-hand turn and suspension setup to its maximum. They had escalators on the ground floor and ended up covering them up with drywall and paint instead of fixing them. More profit for the owners! Their ceiling in the entryway has had plastic over it for far too long for some kind of “repair”. It looks like trash bags are hanging over your head in the lobby. It is embarrassing to bring clients to our office and has been for months because of this. The elevators have been updated and now no longer have buttons inside if needed. Thank god for work from home, because the geniuses in the “investment” of this building are lacking in the most basic of professional standards.
This place is a great place to sit down and enjoy Breakfast or lunch. Not only the staff which is One of the many many reasons I love coming here. Next are the wonderful views of downtown, St.Johns River and Riverwalk on the Double Tree hotel side. I enjoyed it with just my wife and also with my teenage/adult kids.
Parking was very difficult, the visitors lot didn't offer a mechanism for entering. My destination, The Skyline Room, was not not marked, had no signs pointing to it, there was no building staff in sight to direct you to it, no info on the internet told you how to get there or what it looked like, other tenants knew where it was, but with all of the turns and corridors to navigate anywhere on the bottom floor, there was not a way to follow their directions without writing them down. When I eventually came up stairs into a glass ceiling room, I was in the middle of a meeting, so I chose not to disrupt it to find out if I correctly reached the Skyline Room. Instead, I abandoned my plans at Riverplace Tower and left without any benefit from the experience.
Nice office building on the Southbank with good location. No on-site dining.
