Had a very nice stay here (May 2026) everything in the room worked well, bed and pillows were comfy. Had to dock a star because while the mini fridge was one of the larger dorm style ones and had a freezer section which was great, they fill the whole thing with their own items to purchase and you can barely fit your own items. I had to rearrange everything and as a result I got charged for a drink on my bill that was still in the fridge, while not necessarily in the original spot. I felt like it was not necessary to cram the fridge because they have another fridge and bar downstairs to purchase drinks. there’s also a Publix a block away.
One of the best experiences in Jacksonville! My husband and I had a blast in this Hotel. To bad we stayed for such a short period of time. The aera is beautifull, very calm, the room spacious, quiet, clean and very confortable! The breakfast a great surprise. I hab my best Avocado toast ever, and I'm 40 years old. Eric reception and hospitality was far beyond our expectations. We loved averything. We will certanly come back and defenitly stay longer. Thank you Riverdale Inn for making us feel at home! I booked the Windsor room (I think thats what the suite was called. Room 8) for the weekend for my boyfriends 50th birthday and oh my goodness we just had the absolute best time. Everyone is so polite and knowledgeable and the room was absolutely perfect. We are definitely coming back more often just for mini over night getaways. Hands down, this is the only B&B I am willing to stay at in Jacksonville area now. Thank you so much for providing Jacksonville with such a beautiful historical place to relax and enjoy! Just absolute Bliss. I give yall 10 stars across the board. Screw a 5 star😁
We stayed at the Riverdale Inn on a last minute trip to Jacksonville, FL, and count ourselves lucky they had a room available for us. The Inn is a historic home in a quiet neighborhood with a waterfront park, art museum, and Saturday Farmer's Market all within easy walking distance. Excellent local shops and eateries were within a short (less than 15 min) drive. The inn itself is clean and comfortable, with outstanding staff, dining, and amenities.
The Riverdale Inn is our favorite B&B. We return to Riverside Inn once a year and won’t stay anywhere else. The historic home is beautiful with large, clean, luxurious rooms and beds and en suite baths. The entire home is air-conditioned and welcoming, impeccably maintained inside and out. The staff is extremely friendly and caring. The breakfast is excellent so guests should not miss it! There are countless wonderful places to eat and shop within walking distance. Even taking a walk around the lovely neighborhood is a pleasure as is sitting on the huge front porch at the end of a busy day.
