Amazing park on Craig's Creek fed by the St John's River.Once Known as Oriental gardens up to the Great depression of the United States.
Was fun to kayak through parking up at the church . But there's no direct public parking. If you try to take a stroll here, it seems like you're just walking in the back of people's backyard. Or maybe that's the homeowners that are encroaching on the property lines of the park for free , unchecked because of ... I'm assuming.. affluence mainly, and lack of oversight? Is this park just for people of the neighborhood?
Sign says bacterial water quality issues beware of illness. There are HUGE septic tanks here which STINK!! This place is a beautiful septic runoff and needs to be taken off of designated park listing and be listed as public human health hazard.
Peaceful setting by Craig's Creek, cared for and maintained by the St. John's Riverkeepers and the hard work of city maintenance crews.
Beautiful view of St. John's River. Has nice area of open green grass, great for dogs.
