Met with people from work for a get together. We were out on the deck and it was really pretty out there with the view of the river. There is s little outdoor bar and the bar tender was really nice. We also watched a bald eagle fly over head.
Old Florida is getting old, what a magnificent location. What a magnificent site. This property was the winter home of the founders of Palmolive,, has since been a prime getaway,, private club and exclusive riverfront resort. But its now dilapidated. What a shame that it now is part condo, part club, part hotel, but run into mediocrity.Please restore it to its original grandeur
This place is fantastic it does not serve food but you can order and bring in...membership only club.. very easy to be a member rates are very expensive...highly recommend you to check it out you won't be disappointed
This private club on the St. Johns River in Orange Park FL is a hidden gem. It's a wonderful place to enjoy the river while drinking an adult beverage with friendly company.
Went for a work function. I have been here before with a friend. It is a good place to grab a drink and talk to someone. Very cozy. Not a place to go and watch the games, or play games. It is what it is, a bar. It does have a fantastic view as it's on the St. Johns river. Restrooms always stocked and clean. Watch your step as there are plenty of elevation changes.
