River City Vision Center at Oakleaf- Dr. Chandra Williams

This was my first time visiting. I have been with my last optometrist for over 20 years and decided I wanted a second opinion. I have to say, things went perfectly from the time I stepped in until the time I left. The environment was friendly and lively. Every process was explained in detail and I felt comfortable there. Not that I didn’t at my other place, but here felt different. I will definitely keep coming. And if you didn’t know, they are also part of the Veterans Community Care.

Office staff cordial. Assistant was fantastic. She took time and provided invaluable help with my insurance. Dr Hoffman extremely professional and took his time explaining the procedure. I didn’t feel rushed. I felt that he listened and he provided excellent care.

My first visit. Office staff very polite and professional, especially Ashley. I saw Dr Hoffman; he was very detailed about prognosis and listened to my concerns. This wasn’t a rushed drive/thru experience. I’ll be returning.

The appearance of the office made me a bit nervous. The tiny section of frames available for those with public assistance made me angry. Frames priced up to almost $800 when my insurance covers up to $250 were not helpful. Dr. Hoffman on the other hand, was awesome: Friendly, knowledgeable, and goes that extra mile to make sure that things are right. I really appreciate my experience at my appointment, and will definitely return.
