Lovely evening at River & Fort! Great food, excellent service. We sat in the garden area which was a charming setting. The house salad, onion soup, ocean platter, and cioppino were all delicious. Special shout-out to Joffrey, our server, who made the night extra pleasant.

We had an incredible experience at River & Fort celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday! From the moment we arrived, everything was top-notch. I ordered the stuffed NY strip, and my girlfriend had the filet mignon. Both steaks were cooked to absolute perfection—tender, flavorful, and easily some of the best we’ve ever had. A huge thank you to the chef who prepared our meal. You absolutely nailed it and made our celebration even more special! We also want to give a special shoutout to our waiter, Glenn. He took outstanding care of us all evening, was attentive without being overbearing, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. If you’re planning a visit to River & Fort, do yourself a favor and ask for Glenn—you’ll be glad you did! Between the exceptional food, outstanding service, and beautiful atmosphere, it was the perfect place to celebrate. The crab claws were excellent, and the fried shrimp were perfectly cooked with a crisp, flavorful coating. The R&F Cioppino was rich and loaded with seafood, while the pork chop was outstanding—tender, juicy, and topped with a savory onion glaze that elevated the entire dish. The collard greens and baked beans complemented it perfectly. Even the ciabatta bread and apple pie were memorable, finishing the meal on a high note. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and exactly what you’d hope for when enjoying great food with family and friends. Every dish that came to the table was prepared with attention to detail and showcased quality ingredients. A special thank you to Spencer for providing exceptional service throughout our visit. Spencer was attentive, professional, friendly, and made sure every detail was taken care of without ever being intrusive. Excellent food and drinks. If you have to choose one restaurant to have a meal at in Saint Augustine make it this place. Everything is crafted with care, and it all tastes delicious. The cocktails are out of this world. We tried the Cannonball, Bourbon & Berries, chocolate-tini and the Kentucky Red Eye. Make sure to get the roasted beet salad, I never thought almond butter and beets would pair so well together but that salad knocked it out of the park it was so good. The steak salad was also delicious and perfectly cooked and tender steak. The Cuban eggroll was another hit. As for dessert the chocolate pot de creme was on point.
