As a new pool owner, I was recommended this company, and it was a major disappointment. Their service contract states they will scrub the pool, vacuum, test the water, and treat. After I started a contract with them, algae was growing on the tiles, there was sediment and sand in the bottom of the pool that wasn’t being vacuumed out. I contacted Andy and said I was concerned and asked if we could meet and was met with “I talked to the technician”. He refused to come meet face to face, and was not apologetic about not meeting their contractual benchmarks. Fast forward a couple weeks, and I have their tech on video not ever checking my pool water to ensure proper pH balance or chlorine levels. I sent him a video and again “I asked the technician for an explanation” with no apologies. I told them I was going to find another company and he said good luck. They don’t do the bare minimum in their contract and Andy doesn’t seem to care. Don’t hire these guys.
This was a great service years ago. Recently, we found that Rick had retired and our recent service has gone downhill. We have had three technicians in the past 3 months and the pool is filthy. At the end they only did the minimum. During the last service, we had to walk out to the truck to ask them to come back and clean the spa. They skipped it! We hired a new pool service who brought the right equipment and cleaned our pool thoroughly. They informed us that the skimmer was not even turned on and had not been for a while. No wonder the pool was so dirty. Arsenault was just slack. They promised to call and discuss issues but never heard from them. We do not recommend.
Update. We had issues (some listed below) with our service. After we were finally contacted over the weekend, they came out on their own time on a Saturday evening to make sure everything was functioning properly. This was definitely above the call of duty. They followed up on Monday with another visit. We have been pleased with this responsive experience. We just had an initial pool service on our new pool. We received very little feedback about the water conditions. Our pool did not appear to have been cleaned. In addition, muddy footprints were everywhere. And finally, we were left a note, "need to turn motor speed up to make..." - whatever that means. By motor, I guess he means pump, but I'm guessing. And, how do we turn it up? Why didn't he do this? Plus, our spa no longer works at all. What happened? What did he do? What valves did he turn? I am not pleased, and he hasn't answered my emails. I will respond back here should this be resolved expeditiously.
I have used Rick for all of pool inspections for my buyers. He is very thorough and knowledgable. Highly recommend him for all of your pool needs
