I highly recommend to stay away from this accountant. I believe Richard is deceptive and charges for hours that he does not perform. I recently used another accounting group that was a fraction of the cost of this group and much better experience overall. My company was only open a few days a week and Richard was charging a ridiculous amount per month. It takes me less than an hour to bookkeep my expenses and for some reason it took Richard 7-8 hours of billable hours to perform the same work. Either he is highly incompetent and inefficient with his time or he is billing for hours that he did not work. In addition to this when it was time to file my taxes he referred me to another group that cost thousands of dollars in addition to his fees. Terrible experience!
Richard Rust was exceptional in his professionalism, service and timeliness with respect to the completion of our federal and state income taxes for 2025. He turned around our returns very quickly and was very responsive in answering our questions and walking us through the process. We will definitely use his firm for all tax, acounting and financial advisory needs and will gladly refer him to anyone we know in our new community in Jacksonville, Florida who are in need of such services, too.
Richard is extremely knowledgeable and it's evident that he really cares about his clients. If you need a CPA who will sit down with you and break things down, he is it. Definitely recommend 👌
