Relate Counseling

We have been doing marriage counseling with Adam for two years and there aren’t enough words to say how much we have appreciated Adams counseling. My spouse and I have grown so much together. We’ve faced a lot of hardships within the last few years and with the tools we have learned through Adam we have been able to approach hardships with such a deep love and level of understanding for each others feelings. Marriage counseling can be a tough mountain to climb. There are so many dynamics that make the process uncertain and sometimes even uncomfortable for couples to trust and lean into. The third person in the room is critical. In my six decades of being lost and found repeatedly trying to make sense of interpersonal relationships I’ve had my fair share of experiences with counselors where I’ve quite often felt uncomfortable and at times even betrayed by their lack of genuineness. In stark contrast Christopher Lowery is head and shoulders above any other human being I’ve ever encountered inside the arena where your relationship either lives or dies. He has a unique ability to speak directly to what stands in the way of your own emotional improvement and the wisdom to catch small almost imperceptible little moments during your sessions that he then gently drills down on to open your awareness to what all too often we thoughtlessly are doing to ourselves and our spouse. AND he demonstrates a genuine care for helping you unblock your habits and increase your emotional integrity for the sake of your relationship. My wife and I consider Chris as a blessing from God!

Finding a new therapist can be daunting. I knew after my first meeting with Adam that he was exceptional. He has a depth of formal training in ETF and other methodologies that helped me understand my situation in a new light and provided tools and techniques that were actionable... Adam succeeded where other therapists and methodologies failed. On top of being a true professional, Adam is also just a great guy. He is kind, thoughtful, and intentional, but is also flexible in adjusting his feedback based on his clients' needs. He is truly gifted and I'm grateful for his help and now his friendship. Very rarely can you say someone has changed your life but there is no doubt in my mind that Adam has done that for me. I've met other therapists at Relate Counseling and can affirm that he's built an incredible team. I can't recommend them more strongly.
