I've done quite a bit of rehab/PT over the years and Rebound Rehabilitation - Middleburg checks all the boxes. What's more, Rebound Rehabilitation's online resources really are helpful/useful. That's a plus for me. I definitely recommend.
Great experience with physical therapy. The exercises helped my neck and shoulder pain. Emon, Destiny, Sharon, and staff make it as fun as PT can be.
My stepdad has been coming here for a little. The last 2 times he went, he’s been telling me on how they mistreat their i guess “assistants” which look to be around teenagers. He tells me how the therapist don’t really do nothing, they just sit on their laptops and make the assistant’s do most of the work. One time he went and that happened, and he can tell their assistant i think name is “ken”, was just drained. Overall he does indeed like the experience but feels sad for the assistants(he usually comes in the morning so he hasn’t seen any other assistants) because he feels their getting mistreated. In my perspective, i feel sad for them as well. And for all the work he’s telling me the assistant’s are doing, i really hope their getting paid what they deserve.
The staff at Rebound Rehabilitation are kind and professional. The clinic is clean and organized, and the front desk staff were always courteous. During my evaluation, the first physical therapist worked on bending my knee. It was uncomfortable, but she was gentle and communicated throughout the process. I felt heard and supported during that session. However, I never saw her again after the initial evaluation, which made continuity of care difficult. The clinic’s model involves multiple therapists rotating and treating multiple patients at the same time. While that may work for some, I found it challenging as a post-surgical patient who values consistency and clear communication. At a later session, another therapist began working with me and initially used a gentle approach. After instructing me to relax, I closed my eyes. Without warning, she forcefully pushed my leg back. The movement was aggressive enough that I cried immediately. I left feeling physically set back and emotionally shaken. Rehabilitation requires trust, communication, and consent — especially during manual manipulation. Unfortunately, after this experience, I did not feel comfortable continuing care there and decided it was not the right fit for me. I share this for others who may prefer a more consistent, one-on-one approach.
When I arrived I was told to get on the bike for 10 minutes. No explanation was given as to why I needed to do this. I was told when I completed the 10 minutes that it was to warm me up for the other exercises. Why didn't I need to warm up on the last visit? I was told what to do and for how long and then the doctor left me. She did not have any other patiences. One exercise was causing me pain but the doctor didn't notice that because she wasn't around me or watching me. Bottomline, I felt as if she just wanted to get through session. It's hard to explain back pain that comes and goes. I feel more effort could have been made to explore the pain I was experiencing and address it immediately. Additional, I should have been chastised for not doing the stretching exercises she gave me. I did not feel I was getting anything at your facility that I couldn't do on my own at the house. Nothing about the patient care was enough to make me want to come back.
