Went to this establishment a short while ago and arrived at roughly 10:30ish PM. As soon as I sat down I noticed a couple near me concerned about the whereabouts of the other bartender. The bartender that was working told the two that the other bartender had went outside but never returned. The couple obviously worried offered any assistance and even explained that they would be willing to watch the bar if she needed to go look for her coworker. The bartender refused the offer. Shortly after the couple decided to leave, the "missing" bartender wanders around from behind the bar and makes the announcement that she has been sleeping. Her red hair was disheveled and she subsequently just sat for the rest of the evening on a stool staring aimlessly. She never offered to assist with any customers drink orders nor made conversation with anyone. At one point she randomly started to have a lengthy dissertation speech about the non-committal aspects of her boyfriend which I'm sure no one was interested in hearing about. It would have been nice if the bartender told the couple that they didn't need to worry. Right after this event another customer walks in and the bartender decided to discuss with her the lack of hours she has been given and that she only works three days. The nice lady tried to offer some help and stated that a 24 year old should be working full time and provided assistance on how to ask. As soon as this customer walks out the door the bartender blurts out...I love getting unsolicited advice from strangers...Then the sleepy bartender comments...yeah...she's weird...I felt bad for this poor lady that was just trying to be nice. There are health/hygiene and safety risks associated with employees sleeping at a business licensed as a retail beverage and permanent food service entity. I hope the management can take responsibility and educate its employees on proper etiquette so that no one becomes ill. This place used to be so nice. I'll try it again if they get some new employees.
It’s really good! 👍🏻🍺 See what I did there? Great beer selections, and a few “wine” selections for non-beer drinkers. The atmosphere is great, laid back and comfortable. I like it, and I’ll definitely be back. My only critique... give us snacks. Pretzels, nuts, chips, cheese & crackers, or craft beef jerky. Just a little something to snack on while we enjoy our frosty beverages. I’d definitely stay longer with snacks.
The Limonada Rosada I had on Monday was incredibly refreshing. Four days later (Friday), my wife and I stopped by and when I asked for it, they had just run out—bummed out! The other sour they had was pretty good, though—green and a perfect fit for St. Patrick’s Day. My wife loves IPAs and really enjoyed hers. The service was awesome too.
Survey Says on Tuesdays at 6 is my favorite part of the week! The bartenders are friendly and vibes are great here too, plus lots of options including some non alcoholic stuff!
I’ve always thought the Noc needed a brewery, still would be nice, but a good tap house is, well good. A really good beer stop fills the void. I found the shop looking for craft beer, google maps. Probably how you got here. Pulled up in front, doors open, taps in view. Nice bar, plenty of stools, seating areas to the side. Adult games too, big kid games may be a better description. Solid menu of beer, which change often. Package goods, chilled singles and sixes. Warm sixes too. Growler fills, yes. I enjoyed the stop, I’ll find a reason to stop.
