Upgrading from 1 to 3 stars. After a long journey the final product has been delivered but it took some work and time to get there. I patiently waited to write this review and tried to give the benefit of the doubt because I'm a pretty understanding person but that unfortunately tends to work against my favor in situations like this sometimes. Back in April I unfortunately encountered some damage to my vehicle and based off of a recommendation from someone I decided to come to Randy Marion. Right out the gate I was a bit hesitant because it took maybe a week or two for them to get back to me to get the ball rolling and I was in contact with someone else who said they could do the work but they got back to me finally and I had already started the process with insurance. Prior to work beginning I explained I had a PPF on the front bumper that was damaged and asked if that would be covered and noted in the write up. Fast forward to the day I pick the vehicle up a month later and I notice after I get the vehicle home that not only was it not really addressed with insurance but they removed the entire PPF off of my hood which seems completely unnecessary after talking with another body shop today. The process was also delayed a week because they had to order a head lamp that was damaged overnight because it was "thought to be damage from something other than the accident" by one of the techs. On top of that. A week goes by after getting the vehicle and I realize the fog lamp that was replaced isn't turning on. I finally find the time to get it into Honda for service and have them look at it and it was never even wired back together. The icing on the cake. As I mentioned earlier. I took my vehicle to another body shop in town and asked them to give me their honest opinion on what I basically already know the answer to. The front bumper was very poorly aligned with the seams of the rest of the car by whatever reasons whether it be failing to take the time to align the hood or making simple adjustments. So at the end of the day. I've been inconvenienced countless hours of trying to figure this out and constantly getting my emails ignored by this body shop. While the car was in the shop, there was little to no communication on how it was going for weeks in end and when I'd try and call and maybe just get even a simple call back later that afternoon, the calm wouldn't even come until the next afternoon. I emailed multiple times and even stopped by the shop a couple weeks after picking it back up to talk in person calmly and cool and collected and I continue to get zero response back in emails. I used up basically all of my rental coverage for this claim and it would appear I'm married to this shop to get the job done properly from here. As I'll have to now plead with my insurance company to open up the claim again and explain to them that this is still a mess. And then probably have to figure out a means of transportation on my own? I'm not an auto body expert by any means but I can tell when things are just off at this point when multiple people and an entire other body shop tells me it should not have taken this long to ultimately get a bad product back into my hands as well. Super disappointing.
Mario, Michaela, and Amanda were all nice and a pleasure to interact with. I let my mom borrow my brand new Cadillac Vistiq and she crashed it into my house. Car looked terrible when it got hauled off on a tow truck. The guys who worked on it must be great at their jobs (didnt meet them, don't know their names) because you cant tell at all that 18k worth of damage was done. It drives just as well as brand new and no weird issues that I was worried about.
This is my 2nd time with them and I have not been disappointed at all. Steve Brennan worked with me throughout the way from inspection, quotation, parts, budget, and delivery. Communication was timely and top notch! I had to pay out of pocket this time and was very considerate about it. They made my old Mazda 6 08' look new again. Will be coming back for any body repair needs in the future! Very reasonable prices. The photos don't do justice but you get my point. Thank you Steve!!
Paula Beck is amazing. They've done a great job. The body shops on a great job love. These guys highly recommend if you need work on your Cadillac. Buick d it do you see these guys are rocking
I had an excellent experience with Randy Marion Collision Center! They were incredibly fast with the repairs and kept me informed every step of the way. Their communication and professionalism made the whole process smooth and stress-free. My car looks amazing! Like it was never damaged in the first place. I’m beyond happy with how it turned out and would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs quality body work done. Thanks again to Dan and Mario.
