I am beyond disappointed with this so-called “thrift” store. The entire purpose of a thrift store is to support the community, especially those going through hard times—but this place does the exact opposite. Everything inside is donated, yet the prices are outrageously high. A used book bag for $34? A glass pot with a lid for $27? Even a simple coffee cup is priced at $2. These are items people gave away, often with the intention of helping others in need—not to line the pockets of greedy owners. What’s even more upsetting is the complete lack of compassion. When people come in facing real hardship or tragedy, there’s no effort to help, no understanding, no sense of community support—just a cash register and inflated price tags. It’s clear that profit is the only priority here. Taking advantage of your own community, especially those struggling, is not just wrong—it’s shameful. A thrift store should be a place of kindness, fairness, and support. Unfortunately, this place has turned into the exact opposite. I would not recommend shopping here if you truly care about supporting ethical businesses that give back to the community instead of exploiting it.
I love to browse here because I always find something interesting. Sometimes I find awesome deals on clothes, toys, household items, or even furniture! The people here are friendly and helpful. Did you know the people working there are volunteers? Rack Up donates their profits to our community! The money is donated to our local schools for scholarships, to assist our local veterans, and also used for missionary. That is why I donate to Rack Up as well as shop there. Michelle Hodges, the owner, is the wonderful person behind this beautiful idea. If you have items you'd like to donate, drop your items off at the store on 90. Beware, if you go inside you will probably buy something. 😁
Great local thrift store! We usually visit any time we are in the Macclenny area. Prices are good and we always find something interesting that we weren't looking for. $5 for a book, movie and a knife, not too bad at all!
Store is clean thats about the only thing it has going for it. Parking lot is bad. Prices on most items are awful.
Overpriced and items that are broken and obviously used, some clothing with visible stains, etc.
