Had the worst experience ever last week. I had dropped off my bridesmaids dress on Monday and has asked if it was possible for it to be hemmed by Friday. (The original seamstress I had found had to cancel for a family emergency last minute so I was stressed trying to find someone else last minute). I came here because my mom recommended them after getting her dry cleaning done for years with them. She said yes absolutely I can do it by Friday. I told her I was leaving town Friday morning to go to the rehearsal and I will be there around 10-11am to pick it up. I repeated myself at least 3 times, and she just kept saying “No problem! Any time Friday!” She also originally quoted me $100, but then changed it to about $140 after seeing the layers of the dress. I agreed, knowing it was a last minute hem job even though the dress itself was $120. Come Friday morning, I show up at the shop and the husband says “It’s not done. My wife said 4pm”, making it sound as though I was lying. I told him no, I made it very clear I would be here Friday morning to pick it up and she had said any time today. He tells me it will be at least 2 hours until he can have it at the store, (it’s at their house). I explain that I am leaving town right now because I have the rehearsal at 5pm and it’s a 4 hour drive. He says well you can pick it up at my house but it hasn’t been steamed or anything. I’m crying and panicking at this point, and agree because I just have to get my dress and leave. He charges me $150!!!! I have to drive 30 minutes the opposite way to get to their house where the wife leaves my dress laying outside on their front porch in a dirty laundry bag!! Mind you, I dropped it off in my own garment bag that’s nowhere to be found!!! I pick it up, sobbing, drive to St Pete and have to stop to by a portable steamer because it’s wrinkled to hell. I miss the rehearsal and am late the the rehearsal dinner. $150 for an absolute nightmare. Shame on you all.
I hate to leave a bad review but my experience here for alterations was absolutely awful. I needed four curtain panels hemmed and provided a paper with the exact measurements per the owner. After I picked up the curtains I discovered not only were none of them hemmed the right length, they were all hemmed different lengths and the hem was a ruffled mess. When I asked for my money back, because the curtains were ruined the owner offered to fix them. At that point they were not fixable because of the amount of fabric they cut off the curtains. Even if they had been fixable, I would have not had them hem them again because the workmanship was terrible. I pointed out that if they could hem them correctly, they would have done it correctly the first time. The owner told me if I wanted my money back I would "have to take him to court." So I was out the cost of the curtains they ruined and $120 in alterations. Not only did they ruin my curtains and take money for a job they didn't do correctly they made no apologies and were very rude. Worst customer service ever. Never again with this place.
First time here. Got three jackets cleaned. Quoted me a price and asked if I wanted to pay now or later. I chose later because I wanted to see the quality first. Little stains were still on the jackets and when I picked up the price changed!! Never will I use this place again. Horrible service and when the place smells like stagnant moldy water, that should have been a sign to turn around.
Most dishonest people I have ever met. They never have a listed price because it changes when you go to pick up your dry cleaning. DO NOT horror their own advertising discounts. With their advertisement I brought in I paid $135 for 2 suites and 5 shirts. The price went up when I told them I had their advertisement. Everywhere else in the area is less than $50. Use someone else and safe yourself a lot money and hassle.
Just adore this family run dry cleaning business! They are always so kind and quick. Quality dry cleaning. Mostly clean hubby’s work shirts and lab coats. I had alterations done to a maxi dress and it came out perfect! Can’t say enough nice things about this family business! They’re A+! Go Gators 🧡🐊💙
