Jon is an absolutely amazing piercer, and a wonderful person as well! He's extremely attentive to his profession, has a very good sense of humor, and is just overall very fun to talk to. Jon is extremely informative on what you'll have done, how it goes, and how to take care of it, and very sympathetic to a nervous piercee. I had two piercings done by him, and they were nearly entirely painless, his aftercare instructions are clear and concise and after having a slight issue as of my own fault, he's very quick to help correct and give information and resources to solve it. His shop is extremely clean and well kept, he talked with me through the entire process with the whats and hows, answered all of my questions, stupid or not, and helped me quell any doubts that I had about my piercings. His jewelry can be slightly expensive but it is more than worth it! The quality of products that he sells is worth every single penny, and you'll have the confidence to know that you're paying for something for the long run, and not some cheap metal that you'll have to replace sooner rather than later. The options he can offer are nearly endless, too! The process took me personally about 2ish hours, and that's from the moment I walked in the door, to opening my car door, that included talking about the process, the jewelry, the pricing of everything, the aftercare, and a large amount of good belly laughs the whole time. I had set up an appointment with him through text about a week in advance, and was able to get in to my appointment exactly on time. If anyone is looking to get pierced, he's simply the man to go to for any and all piercing needs, cut and dry. 10/10, would get pierced again, and again, and again.
Jon was super educational and informative - but make it fun. My 11 year old was pumped to get his ears pierced but woke up appointment day with all the nerves. Jon led with care and made the whole experience top notch. The shop was clean, calming and had some beautiful art.
I came to Pure Imagination Arts to have a consultation and second opinion on a navel piercing that was done at a different studio. I scheduled my appointment through their website and included my concerns about the piercing. I can see why they have so many, and only, 5 star reviews. This studio is amazing. Very clean and comfortable. Jon had already taken the time to look over my concerns and even looked up the shop where the piercing had originally been done. He provided exceptional knowledge on my piercing, where things went wrong, how the healing process is supposed to go, what to do and what NOT to do, as well as reassuring me on the healing and re-piercing process. Nearly 40 minutes of consult and they didn’t charge anything. If you have any doubts about a piercing you’ve had done, act sooner rather than later - and let these guys help you. I truly feel that all of my concerns were taken note of and thoroughly explained with care. This shop truly cares about their clients and after my experience I believe they go above and beyond exceptional customer service and care. I will 100% be coming back this fall to get my navel re-done properly.
I highly recommend getting your piercings at Pure Imagination. I had my helix pierced by Jon. I felt comfortable (even though my palms were sweaty) during the piercing since everything was explained to me beforehand. Jon knew I was nervous and never made me feel senseless for all the questions I asked. I appreciated all his knowledge before , during and after the piercing: if and when I’m ready for another one, I’ll be back!
Jon is beyond amazing! He is so patient and understanding. I had my 11 week old ears pierced and did my research. I wanted someone who used a needle and not the automatic piercing gun. Yes she screamed bloody murder but don’t they when they get shots? 3 minutes felt like forever but Jon said as soon as we are done to leave the room and she will calm down and boy was he right! He knows what he is doing it was worth the hour drive.
