The people here are warm, friendly and sincere. The worship leadership is excellent. Theologically, PBC seems to emphasize a sort of anti-charismatic Calvinism that leads to a narrow and somewhat dry interpretation of the Bible (think John MacArthur). The Sermons move very slowly - points are beaten nearly to death and the same message is preached every week: (1) Read your Bible and (2) the believe-for-heaven gospel..
Amazing church ♥️ really good teaching of God’s word. Wonderful congregation
Pastor makes the Bible more understandable. Clear and relatable. Classic, beautiful music and facilities.
I am thankful for Providence Bible Church in St. Augustine. I find the pastors to be well grounded and very humble. The sermons are Biblically based and do not get into politics at all which in this area is very refreshing. The church focuses on Loving God, Loving people and Changing the world.
Very friendly. Interesting campus layout was a bit confusing. Pastor had a nice style of preaching. Worth checking out especially if you live close by.
