Proctor Ace Hardware

I like the concept of Ace Hardware. Independent owner with Ace buying power. Here is the problem and why I can no longer buy anything of value from Ace anymore. If you purchase an item from one Ace there is little or no guarantee you can return it at another Ace. You buy from Home Depot you can return at any Home Depot. Regardless of location. The business logic provided is that each store is different that is why they can’t refund items. To me you are one business ACE hardware. Not a customer centric model. Bummer as I like the people at these stores.

I can't say enough about our new Mont Alpi grill that we purchased at Proctor Ace Hardware. Our salesman, Lane was outstanding. He knew his product from top to bottom, patiently answered all of our questions, (we had tons) talked to us about our grilling needs and interests, helped us select all of the components and even offered to come to the house and show us how to use the grill (this man is serious about grilling). It is truly a beautiful looking outdoor kitchen with a gorgeous waterfall quartz composite countertop. Ronnie and his assistant delivered and installed the product in a first class manner, cleaned and polished the stainless areas and made sure there wasn't even the smallest smudge on the countertop. After the installation and cleaning, he took the time to repeat what Lane showed us initially in the store. We were treated with respect and our purchase was appreciated, you don't get that service at a big box store. Thanks again to Lane, Ronnie and Proctor Ace.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Three years ago, I left a fair review based on my experience at the time. I believe it’s just as important to recognize when a business makes meaningful improvements—and Proctor Ace Hardware absolutely has. The difference today is like night and day. The atmosphere is welcoming, the employees are genuinely friendly and eager to help, and the overall customer experience has improved tremendously. It’s clear that customer service has become a priority. A special thank you to Tanya, one of the store managers. She is consistently pleasant, professional, and always available if I need assistance. That level of leadership shows throughout the entire store, and the rest of the team reflects that same positive attitude. Whether I’m picking up materials for my business or grabbing something for a project, I know I’ll be greeted with excellent service and knowledgeable staff.
