I have been a primary care patient at PrimeCare for three years. I had a specific medical test request recently that I was hoping they could order for me. I made a phone call ahead of time to make sure that they would be able to help me with this, as I didn’t want to spend a co-pay if it wasn’t something they could do. A woman named Mary told me that yes, they could do it, and that my nurse practitioner could put an order in for it. I scheduled an appointment for the next morning. When I went to see my nurse practitioner, she told me that no, they do not in fact do that there. She told me that Mary told her that I wanted a referral to a specialist. I do not need referrals as I have a PPO. So Mary lied to me and lied to my nurse practitioner, all just to get my $70 co-pay I suppose. Mary has called me several times over the past six months, trying to get me to come in, even though I’m feeling perfectly healthy. So I’m seeing now that it’s her job to just get people in so that the office can collect the co-pays even if services are NOT rendered. It is extremely disappointing and a horrible feeling to be lied to and ripped off, especially when you went out of your to confirm via phone prior to scheduling in order to avoid this exact thing. As a widow on a tight budget, I cannot afford to throw money in the trash. I will not be going back. No more of my money will be going to support this practice.
David Wood is very thorough and caring. They offer comprehensive cardiac care. The staff have been efficient and good with follow-through.
In a world where exceptional medical care can be hard to find, I am grateful to have found a team that goes above and beyond. It's clear that they value patient education and engagement. Thank you to the entire staff for making my experience a positive and enlightening one. The nurses and support staff were attentive and caring, making sure I felt comfortable at every stage of my visit.
I've been going to this office for quite some time, but I will not be going to this office anymore. I'm not sure what happened to them or who they've decided to put in charge in front but they're the rudest people I've gotten hung up on. I've gotten told I will call you back repeatedly and never have gotten a call back. I've basically got like being charged for my insurance to come back in when I was already in there, and Dr. Whippleberg who left the office which is so unfortunate because he was great and now that I'm left with is incompetence. I would truly suggest shopping around. I'm going to. All I needed was a clearance to get a shot and the thing is they've sent those clearances with no problem over the past 5 to 8 years not needing me to come in stand in front of them for five minutes get charged and then walk out which I was just there a couple months ago and Dr. WhippleBerg said I'll see you in six months
My mother went to PrimeCare for her primary care while battling cancer. The whole team was wonderful to her. She deeply appreciated the compassionate care she received from Dr. Kelsey and David Wood, the FNP-C. Highly recommend this practice.
