Seriously outstanding barber shop. A few weeks back, I found myself in St. Augustine for a few days, and since Gainesville has an unfortunately awful catalog of barber shops, I figured I’d try my luck and get my hair cut here. I was really worried that I would feel like an outsider or a tourist, but when I called and asked if there was a spot available in the same day, the man who answered was very kind and accomodating. When I arrived, the same man who answered the phone was ready to cut my hair. I was genuinely shocked by the balance of speed and quality. I would expect most fast hair appointments to cut corners or be too rough, but my barber got my hair exactly as I like it in record time. Not only that, but he was gentle and extremely careful - I was even treated with a hot towel and a vacuum to remove the excess hair from my skin. I have NEVER walked out of a barbershop not feeling itchy and uncomfortable - until that day. Cash is required, but there’s a bank with an ATM right next to the shop - same building, even. The price was more than fair and made me incredibly happy to tip - I wish I could tip again just thinking how happy I was on that day. Please support this shop, it’s incredibly rare you find such talent and experience in a barbershop.

I love coming to Price’s barbershop, it truly is a place for the locals. Every time I come in for my appointment with Jeremy, I run into someone I know. A truly old fashioned barbershop right in the heart of downtown and truly a part of our community. Thanks for keeping me looking as good as an old man can.

I’ve been bringing my boys to Price’s for haircuts since they were babies, and it has always been such a special experience for our family. Haircut day is something they genuinely look forward to. They walk out every time with big smiles, lollipops in hand, and feeling so proud. Dylan and Rochelle are the absolute best with little boy cuts they’re patient, kind, and just know how to make kids feel comfortable. We’re so grateful for them and wouldn’t go anywhere else!
