It was really just ok. The staff were all very friendly. Its their business model I am not thrilled with. I felt like they have wayyyyy to many patients for the number of staff. At any one time they would have about 5 patients per staff (2 of which were actually PTs). The first session or two was good. Someone was with me most of the way to show me all the exercises but after that things changed. Once you finished an exercise you would have to stand there for 5 min waiting for someone to tell you the next thing to do or try to flag someone down. The staff were all very kind but just scrambled from one patient to the next as fast as they could. There was no real quality time with anyone. No one was watching my form or suggesting I do something better or different. By the last 5 sessions I just ran on autopilot and completed the workout routines with literally 0 input. Once I was ready to go on a table they would ask...'did you do this exercise or that one'. That was about it. I really felt bad for the elderly patients as many times they were just standing around waiting for someone to notice they were not doing anything. After about 10 sessions I had to ask myself what I was really spending my money on. I have never done Physical Therapy before and do not know if this is a normal business practice for these types of places. The exercises they showed me have been very helpful. I just wish there was a little more attention to patients individual progress.
Having prior knowledge of Justin and the team over here at Preferred Physical Therapy I was relieved to be referred to them by my Drs. They have disappointed and have helped recovery immensely! Their knowledge of traditional and non-traditional methods is actually impressive, plus the whole group has great energy and personality which helps to keep the mood positive when you're in pain and not happy to be here 😎🤘 Thank you!
After seeing how well both of my parent's progressed through their own recoveries, it was an easy choice to choose Preferred Physical Therapy after surgery for a torn labrum. Extremely knowledgeable and professional, the team their has created a family atmosphere proving they care about their patients and you aren't another name on a chart. As most patients often do (myself included), we tend not to follow DR or Therapist orders fully once we leave (DO NOT DO THAT). The recovery plan they put in place coupled with exercises they wanted me to do at home allowed me to recover more quickly than had I not. Overall, a great experience and if I ever find myself needing physical therapy again, I will be going to Preferred Physical Therapy.
Preferred physical therapy was great. I had tore my rotator cuff and they were able to get me back to normal in a quicker time than I was told to expect. All that worked on me were great. Kat and Gary worked my shoulder and while there was some pain involved I don't think the results would have been as good if they did not push it. I would go back.
Been with them for few years for different surgeries and treatment They are the best… they know what they are doing, knowledgeable, the staff are the best , starting with receptionist that make you feel welcome and Justin, Cameron, Alex, Gary, Tim, Kat, that works for you, with you and for you!!! Love that place
