I waited three years before writing this review, but I feel it is important to share my experience. After moving from New York, I chose Dr. Joshua Perry after reading about his credentials. I went to his practice for what I expected to be a simple crown procedure. Unfortunately, from the beginning, I did not feel comfortable with his manner. His tone came across as unfriendly and rushed, and I felt that he was more focused on getting through the appointment than on making me feel comfortable. During my appointment, he was also assisting two other patients while I was in the chair, which made me feel that I was not receiving his full attention. I had specifically told him about my sensitivity to dental anesthesia, but I was still given what felt like a very high amount of anesthesia, which caused me significant dizziness and discomfort. After the crown was placed, the same tooth later became infected and ultimately required a root canal. I am wondering whether there may have been an issue with the preparation of the tooth before the crown was placed. Overall, the experience left me disappointed, particularly because I chose the practice based on Dr. Perry’s credentials and expected a much better experience and not a root canal treatment after.
My teeth had been badly damaged, and as a 24-year-old female, I felt very self-conscious and insecure about my smile. Dr. Perry and his team were incredibly compassionate and reassuring from the very beginning. They took the time to listen to my concerns and understand my needs, and they never made me feel like I was just another patient on their schedule. When it came to the actual dental work, Dr. Perry's expertise really shone through. He was able to restore my teeth to a level of perfection that I never thought was possible. His attention to detail and precision is truly unparalleled. He was very patient with me throughout the process, always ensuring that I was comfortable and at ease. In addition to Dr. Perry's impressive technical skills, I was blown away by his bedside manner. He has a warm and friendly personality that instantly puts you at ease. He takes the time to explain everything in detail and makes sure that you fully understand what's happening every step of the way. Overall, I cannot recommend Dr. Perry and his team enough. They are a true asset to the dental profession, and I feel fortunate to have been referred to them. If you're looking for a dentist who is not only skilled but also caring, compassionate, and dedicated to patient satisfaction, then Dr. Perry is the one for you. Thank you, Dr. Perry and team, for giving me back my confidence and my beautiful smile! Also, please note, the photo barely scratches the surface. Dr. Kristen Debonis, Taylor and the other staff, were awesome! They treat you with respect and understanding. I highly recommend. Very professional, all the while being personable.

Above and beyond - this is the phrase that best captures both Dr. Perry and his entire team. His care has been pivotal in my dental journey. After knocking out my front tooth as a child, I’ve worked with many prosthodontists over the years, but none have come close to the level of care, precision, and compassion that Dr. Perry and his team offers. Following double jaw surgery and the completion of orthodontic treatment, I was hoping to have a new prosthetic front tooth made before heading off to school. Dr. Perry made this goal of mine a priority. His staff fit me into his schedule week after week, and Dr. Perry worked repeatedly with the lab until the result was perfect. I am incredibly grateful for Dr. Perry and his team at Ponte Vedra Family Dentistry. I truly could not have asked for better care during this chapter of my dental journey.
