Pointe Parc at St. Johns

Idek where to begin with my list of issues. Everything is outdated. Whatever is broken maintenance isn’t gonna actually ever fix it. My AC has been leaking since April and I’ve been continuously told it’s normal water accumulation and my AC blows a vinegar and wet towel smell even with a new filter. But I reported it again with videos and they made me leave the middle of my work day so the most unqualified supervisor ever can tell me it’s bc the filter was in wrong that HIS TEAM PUT IN. And the outside units are going to make noise when they turn on duh, but it sounds like a CHAINSAW. And it’s lovely because it’s right outside my bedroom window and the walls are paper thin. If I could turn back the clock I would’ve never resigned my lease especially when rent went up $100+ and the whole pointe parc team is absolutely useless. 40 maintenance requests in less than 2 years. My dishwasher leaked for months and they kept half ass fixing that. Under my sink is all warped because of that. My “luxury” linoleum wood in my bathroom is sliding and peeling. Oh and don’t worry that’s been fixed 2x. It’s a joy to get off the toilet and the floor is stuck to your foot. LUXURY. My ceiling fan looks and sounds like it’s gonna take flight when I turn it on. That’s been put in before yet never even handled. The pool is shut down like 4 months out of the year for god knows what. I’d hate to have a big dog bc the dog park is about the size of a parking spot with one bench. Our streetlights don’t barely even work . You can double park random spots but heaven FORBID you’re even a tire in the loading zone. Thankfully after about a year they repainted the parking lot so you can see where the hell you’re actually parking . A few work orders ago the supervisor told me he would bring me a new screen for my porch and I have yet to get that fixed. At pointe parc you need to pick and choose your battles of what you want fixed even tho an admin fee is tacked into your rent. Anyways I’m going to go siphon my dishwasher hose so I can run it.

i’ve been here since june and i don’t see why some of the reviews are bad. my brother lived here a few years back and it’s the same as i remember it. the community it quite nice and very quiet . no one bothers anyone and the leasing office is always on point with my needs. Taylor the property manager is extremely sweet and checks in always after maintenance requests. Arielle(if i’m spelling it right) is also extremely sweet and helps with whatever i need. Javier (Maintenance) always comes and gets the job done when something is wrong . he even goes above and beyond for extra requests we may have forgotten! In regards to pests i have not had a roach or ant issue living here. Of course you may see a palmetto bug or two once in the blue but hey .. we live in florida and it’s been raining heavy! so that’s nothing 😂! I did have a neighbor that was causing issues for our building but they acted fast and got that situated not only for me but everyone else in my building . Great place to stay , don’t let some of these reviews scare you away.

They have been saying the pool is going to open soon for the last 2 Summers. It is now the end of March and the pool is still closed as we approach summer #3 of the pool being closed. There is a small pool that is extremely overcrowded, but the main large pool has been closed for going on three years… Do not rent from here! I can’t believe the rent is so high for the lack of useable amenities. Fix the pool! Now! Stop lying to your tenants and telling us it is going to be open soon but we’re for 3 years. You guys could have tore the pool down and built 20 new pools in the past three years. Stop lyingggg to us

Where to start… this place is HORRIBLE. The neighbors are terrible and loud, the walls are paper thin, and if you have smokers in your building the entire building will smell even with doors closed. People do not pick up after themselves and leave their food trash and debris everywhere. The condition of the apartments is terrible. Idk if they use AI or whatever for the tour pics online but they look nothing like the inside. The vinyl is peeling off our cabinets, the maintenance staff is very kind but they only do temporary fixes and quick fixes, nothing permanent. We have gone to the office several times for noise complaints about our upstairs neighbors and the staff says sorry that’s apartment living for you and says there’s nothing they can do. I along with one of my awesome neighbors, have gone to the office numerous times about the ceiling and roof of our building CAVING IN… it’s hurricane season. Not safe!!! We were told they have a quote in to restore the roof and to fix the issue but our neighbor said this has been ongoing for 5 full years. Also, for the entire summer both pools have been closed. The office sends out notices about not using the pools and has no updates on when they will be open. They occasionally open the phase 2 pool but then something happens or it’s closed for cleaning. The kids in the neighborhood have nothing to do. The gym is pretty lame and there really isn’t anything luxurious about this place. The office has refused to take care of the nasty dog park and the pool everywhere. I received a fine for not picking up after my dog when I had to run inside to get a bag and come back out to get the poop. Someone has been stealing entire rolls of the poop bags and then we have to use our own. The poop canisters are barely cleaned out and the grassy areas wreak of smelly poop. I have been asked to not come into the office to speak with them because when I put my foot down and was stern I was told I was “too hostile”…. I clearly am not the only one admitting the staff is a bit rude and does nothing. I read the other posts. Save your time and energy. If you aren’t paying almost $1900-$2100 for an apartment in Jax then you will reap the benefits of trashy apartment living is what I’ve learned. It’s sad. Just be careful when you look for a nice home. Talk with the neighbors if you see them out and about, ask questions, read reviews.
