We had the pleasure of seeing Rent in their newly reopened location. It was absolutely fantastic, the actors were each and every one amazing. I did not expect it to be such a touching experience and found myself weeping openly twice in the show. The facilities are clean and comfortable. The theater was comfortably cool but not cold. We had seats in the very back row but still heard and saw everything on stage. All in all, a delightful experience and deserving of a wholehearted recommendation.
The show was outstanding "WILD PARTY." The cast seem to envelope the audience inside the plot. It's so obvious that these cast members are doing what they love, now how can that not be brilliantly entertaining. If you have a free evening check it out. You will not be disappointed you will be swept aback to a party in the 1920's. Mr. Black was particularly talented... but I'm biased. This little theater came alive with the pulsating energy from these talented actor's.
Just saw yesterday's matinee for Rent, which is the 3rd production I've seen here and I was blown away again! They have done some nice reno since the fire and the talent they showcase is top notch. The effort is clear and they always put on a fabulous, passionate show! You'll never be disappointed seeing something that Players puts on; they are the creme de la creme of community theater!
We had a great time attending The Wiz. A truly phenomenal performance by a truly phenomenal cast. Get ready to laugh and sing as you enjoy a new twist on a beloved classic.
You are always going to see a great show from one of the 3 theaters, Players by the Sea, All Beaches Experimental Theatre (ABET) or Greenlight Theatre, that share this building
